In MS, Group B, Kento Momota qualifies. It's all about the second place.

I won't call this as Lucky. SV earned it. Not like in WS. Li Michelle and Zhang Beiwen were given free entry because of later withdrawals. But Sameer verma had to fight it out (has to win a tournament) in order to qualify for WTF. I watched his match against Tommy. In the second game, he was using lots of deception which made Tommy to react little bit late and hence could not get it going.

Well Done Sameer. Even if Kantaphon wins him in 2 or 3 games, i think Sameer will go, provided Tommy loses to Kento.

In 2-way tie, the H2H between the 2 pairs/players will determine the higher group rank.

In 3-way tie, games won/lost difference will be used, and if there is still a 3-way tie, scores won/lost difference will be used. If there is still a 3-way tie, they will determined by drawing lots.

They play group stage before the knockout stage. The each group consist of 4 players/pairs and use round robin system so each players/pair will face all 3 other players/pairs. They will get 1 point for every match won.

The group leader and runner-up each group will advance to the knockout stages (semifinal) and there will be another drawing for knockout stages.

So, for example, if minions and Li/Liu are tie in second place of Group A, minions will win the last slot to SF straight away regardless how many games/scores won?

Sindhu looks like she didn't even believe that she could steal 1 game from tai.

At the beginning he said, "I think she's (tty) gonna lose today" then gave the explanation.

The aggressive way Sindhu runs around the court, she does remind me of the Predator in the movie.
