Oh yes it’s the mega power turbo, my mistake. I was also looking at the 80td as I’ve seen a lot of good reviews for it. I’m mainly someone who uses a lot of smashes but I also play net. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Never tried that 9TD so I can't tell. But it looks like to have mostly the same specs as the Turbocharging 75B; just a cheaper version of it. If money is not a problem, 75B is a good choice. Victor BS12 as well. In yonex, mid range like Duora 77 or Astrox 7 are fine for beginner / intermediate.
I agree with @Michel Aupin that the Li Ning 75B would be a good choice for what you're looking for. A balance point of 295mm would be slightly head heavy, it's fast enough and is marketed as a doubles racket, and has a medium flex shaft.
I tried my friend's windstorm 72 and loved how light it was.The 75b is a bit too expensive for me so I am looking at the windstorm 500 right now. Do you think this is a good choice for doubles? It is listed as 75-81 grams.
I usually don't recommend these lighter rackets for newer players because I think it's good to have the extra weight to help generate a bit more power until your technique gets better. A 3U or 4U racket would be better in my opinion.
I’ve been playing for about 5 years now so I don’t really consider myself new. I am currently using a 3U Nanoray excel Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
With a medium flex shaft, in my experience Voltric Glanz will be a suitable one. It is only available in 4U, fast, flex, powerful, and easy to use. Son Wan Ho currently use this Voltric Glanz after joining Yonex from Victor.
