Sun Feixiang, Li Shifeng and Ren Pengbo playing in Orleans on the week of China Masters. That’s why they are not in the China masters roster.

China is sending players right, left and centre now. Next week we will see three teams participating in Barcelona, Austria and Italy

Any information on Liu Haicho? Surprised Sun Feixiang is playing in Europe but he isn't.

Interesting to note that Qin Jingjing is back. I think she played in Malaysia a few weeks ago in the league. Now officially representing Australia in Laos.
She’s only 22. I think she is definitely a potential top tenner in the future. She was the no. 1 chinese junior in 2014 before moving to Australia for further studies.
Maybe we’ll see the dream combo of Tang Yuanting and Bao Yixin soon. Australia will be serious Uber Cup medal contenders then

Guo Kai BWF profile states he's still representing China : https://bwfbadminton.com/player/83303/guo-kai

So, it wouldn't be so surprise now that several former CHN national players fly to other countries and trying to develop their badminton career there.

Ren Pengbo won easily against two top juniors, lakshya sen and sun feixiang in Barcelona. L. Sen is quite a good player and the 2nd ranked junior in the world. and is also fast with a good attacking style.
Does it mean he has finally honed his fast attacking play ala LCW. A match against the young singaporean loh kean yew would be interesting.

Ren Pengbo world ranked 172 won his match against S. Verma ranked 56.
A good achievement. Still early days though. But its a good result against a tough opponent.

Zhao junpeng won his match against Wang Tzu Wei. Thats impressive. He has finally found the skills and temperament to match his style of play. Well done. I had written him off and felt he was the weakest of the juniors but always loved the way he moved on the court. Lets hope he plays well in the next match.

Been watching the Italian junior replays, Li Yunze in particular. He is quite good with a strong smash and good footwork. He takes the shuttle early. Impressive wins to reach the semifinal. So I was surprised he lost to Liu Liang in straight sets. LL must be very good. Havent seen him playing in tbis tournament. Hope to be able to soon. LL has won a junior competition and lost to Li Yunze in another final. Looks like he is the most consistent.

I saw the match. LL is definitely better than LY, faster ,more powerful and has a good defence. He is only 15 (born in 2003). Another 15 yr old is the girl ,Wu Wei, but why was she taking part in the Austrian open and not in the junior circuit.

Zhang Jun has confirmed he is standing for office of Vice-President of BWF, together of two other candidates, one from Thailand, Patama, the current Chairman of BAT, and the other from Indonesia, Wiranto, the current chairman of PBSI (in Chinese 'An Dong', hope I get his name right). The results of the election will be announced at the AGM to be held during the Sudirman Cup in Nanning, May.
