Anyone know if the thread starter EnzoSports is still opened as of this year? It’s damn confusing especially when the Mizuno site states that EnzoSports is their official distributor and I couldn’t find anything in regards to this shop. Furthermore the address given was to another shop name called Optimus Sport... Can’t seems to find Mizuno MG781 contour grip anywhere else and was hoping to get it from their distributor instead. Specifically looking for that because of the Black Tape + Green Threads color scheme
That looks really nasty. 27 lbs isn't too high. Frame quality of this particular model must be really bad. Sent from my JSN-L22 using Tapatalk
In that case you might want to ask for a replacement or at least report it to the store. Sent from my JSN-L22 using Tapatalk
Yea sent to store already just need to see what Mizuno says and they say it's not their fault from looking at the pictures
Well hopefully you get a replacement but I hardly think it's something else apart from the fact that the product has some defect somehow that's why it had that sinking grommet thing. Sent from my JSN-L22 using Tapatalk
I have 3 pcs fortius V, 2 have been pulled 28/30 with vs66 power and bg80. It seems there is no sinking symptom at the top frame. But I have to say, original grommet is very soft compared to victor, lining, and yonex.
O thats good someone with similar tension, Ive been trying to decide if I should get anymore Fortius V if it keeps sinking. With the grommet I noticed same thing I think after couple of restrings nearly all the grommets need replacing.
My FTV also has sinking problem as well. I just kept playing with it. There's no sign of further sinking. I'll buy a new one after this one's death.
Ooooo don’t think i would want to keep spending money this way, even though rackets good. My second one looks like it could be sinking a bit Need to see, ill be changing all grommets next time its strung
I do. Very good racket for overall play and leaning towards a power racket. Smashing is obviously no issues but it is good even for net play and clear. My backhand play also improve and it was easier to hit back even at difficult position. Was my go-to racket until..... I got the JPX LTD EDN ES. : This replaced my old LTD EDN which was broken by my son.... I can only say that for a hard hitter like me, it is my dream racket. It is most definitely a sledgehammer! The only problem is net play, which tends to miss the net, but I blame it on the player (myself) as I still need to get use to the racket. Needs a bit more wrist work to bring it above the net. I now have more Mizuno rackets in my arsenal (including wife and son's) than any other brands. For those who prefer a bit more flex but still head-heavy racket, you can try the Mizuno Speedflex 7.0 Pro too. pretty good, but need to string at lower tension (25lbs +/-) to take advantage of the flex. Hope that helps.
Glad you like the JPX LTD ES I can concur that it's a solid hitter, like an aerodynamic sledgehammer. I'm just waiting for ABUGEK Sports to have a stock again and I'll be purchasing one more. Sports gala is expensive Sent from my JSN-L22 using Tapatalk
Just as a comparison, my first decent racket was Yonex VZF II Lin Dan white edition. Crazy power on a 4U racket. Had been having problem finding a good successor. Went for Mizuno LTD (broken by my son...), LN N9II, N99, N7II Lite, Gosen Inferno EX, Gosen Customedge V2 Type K, Mizuno Speedflex 7.0 Pro, JPX 8.1 Pro and then now LTD ES. Even threw in a Karakal B-65 FF (BP 310mm!!) for experiment too (smash was insane but can't do much with it otherwise) I would say the Type K, 8.1 Pro came close to my Lin Dan. LTD ES probably matched and in some instances, exceeded the LD.
I understand that Chris (badmintononlineshop) still have a few pieces.. I am tempted to buy 1 or 2 more, but having 22 rackets and wifey raising eyebrows, I know what is the wise thing to do....
On normal day, I will go for the ES as first choice and 8.1 Pro at intervals (I tend to rotate my rackets so that I am not over-reliant on 1 or 2 rackets. Also keep me flexible and versatile). I injured my wrist before due to weight training and it still bugs me every now and then. In those days, i will switch to more flexible rackets like N9II or Speedflex 7.0 Pro. 1 note especially for amateur players like me where our swing are not totally correct, the stiff+HH combi on the ES can hurt your elbow or wrist. 8.1 Pro is more forgiving in that sense, relatively speaking.
Saweet! Thanks for that info. Will definitely check badminton shop online. Sent from my JSN-L22 using Tapatalk
