That was added with the late challenge allowance by the umpire. Though I agree they should just forget about protesting and just let it go next time. It's totally useless.

What's live ball? Yeah they can without umpires coz the sound of the ball touches the table is so obvious, the problem is if it only slightly touches the edge..
Don't expect minions to do what VA did in SSF 2017. As if minions can instantly thinks of doing like that. What VA did is great, but that's not the norm. I think someone here felt that only VA can do what he did.
As a matter of fact, , is it too much to accept the truth? They know clearly that it touched their hand and deflected badly. They simply acted as if nothing happened. Well viktor is probably the only player that gave free point to the opponent after a bad decision from the umpire. I don't remember anyone else doing it.
