Have one doubt sir Victor Avengers series racket and Thruster F claw are same specifications or any different is there
Just for information really - the differences I’ve noted between the AS90 S and the AS90 K AS90 S - 4U - 88g and 295mm AS90 S - 3U - 90g and 295mm AS90 K - 4U - 85g and 305mm The 90K feels slightly stiffer compared to the original as well - not huge amounts but noticeable.
liked 70k head frame profile much more than 90s, it is has more features in the design, if just 70k would not have such big head size (normal size, and 90s is about js11 size) then it would be perfect racket.
hearing all these about AS90K, wld be interested in getting one by any chance, are 3U models going to be available on this?
If AS80X is more head heavy than AS90S as from the matrix...wouldn't AS90K be similar to AS80X? Interested to see how AS80X compares to AS90K.
OK - so the 80X I have sits in between the 2 x 90 models: AS90 S - 90g & 295mm AS80 X - 90g & 300mm AS90 K - 85g & 305mm Remember the 90K is a 4U though!
Is there anyone to confirm that the Avengers racquet is infact the TKF re-painted? If this is the case I want to buy one to be my 2nd racquet
After a week playing with the TK FC i can give a quick review on it : My racket is a 4U strung at 27lbs with LN1, i'll compare it mostly to the JS11 that i use for more than a year now Unlike Paul, i found that the feel is stronger than TKF, the feel difference between the sweet spot and mishit is clearly marked. This racket is very fast, almost on par with the JS11 despite being head heavier which is a good performance. I didn't feel any lag on the shaft on fast paced game of smash defense. The shaft felt quite stiff tho. The frame is very beefy on feel and caused me some issue there. I don't really like beefy frame because when you mishit you get uite much vibrations on the arm. This made me back down when i smash as, unconsciously, i was scared of that The few times when i could fire all in smash, power was very good but the sweet spot seems sensibly smaller than the TKF, it's not an easy racket.
May i know the balance point of tk7000sn?Should ill go for 3u or 4u if i prefer more even balance to slightly heavy head?
Balance point is a pretty much worthless number if you don't share the exact same grip setup. I have it as 3U and I would definitely not want it any lighter. It's very slightly head heavy (head weight sits somewhere close to N9II and N7II) and reasonably fast. Just a great allrounder. If it's the perfect racket for you, I'm afraid that is something you have to find out yourself.
Had the opportunity to buy the new TK falcon claw (Thruster FC) in 4U and here are my first impressions: Weirdly, it seems there is no heritage between this TK FC and the TK F, which is quite a surprise. Even if they share the same paint job and on paper roughly the same characteristics, they play absolutely different. TK FC plays much stiffer and the head weight is less noticeable, making it faster. The racquet head is rock solid, no deformation, very solid hitting surface. I was expecting a TK F with a compact head but it plays totally different I still prefer my trusty N9-2/N7-2, so this racquet is not my cup of tea, so I’m selling it
