Racket models don't need translation lol. Even with my poor Mandarin skills I'm using logic to translate it. 4 digit models are the Aeronauts. 3 digits are the Calibars. 2 digits are the TurboChargings. There is a prototype X-1, a N90III, and a smattering of N50s of all 3 generations. Strings are the first 2 character of the 3rd colum and tension is the last 2 digits of the 3rd column.

The top table is the men's team, 2nd table is the women. The last I think are coaches.

Example of how to read the first line is basically Chen Long, Calibar 900, Number 1 32lbs. Liu Cheng, Calibar 900C/Aeronaut 7000B, Number 5 30lbs.

The last table is for international players sponsored by LN. First one for example is Sindhu.

LOL you know they are trying too hard when they put in brackets : Indonesia’s NUMBER ONE WOMEN’s SINGLES next to Gregoria Mariska Tunjung’s name.

Shows how unknown she is and how desperately Li Ning needed to fill up that last excel spreadsheet cell. LOL.

I find it interesting that the men's team slightly favours LN1 over LN5. (not sure if it's a double or singles thing, because I can't read any of the names).
Whilst the women are the opposite and almost universally favour LN5?

    Any thoughts to why?

Not sure why but I can tell you that the left column are singles players and right column are doubles players.

If I am not mistaken, From the Lining table, siwei use number 7 string, liu yu zhen use aeronaut 7000B, while lijunhui aeronaut 9000D

Great work, thanks A LOT! Is it okay to share this table in other social media platforms?

And besides, is there a general trend away from those mid-30s tensions that we've seen in the last couple of years or is that just a single snapshot that we see here?

I haven’t been following the tension trend for pro players so I’m not sure about this. Malaysian players often go >30lbs but I’m not sure about the trends in other countries. (I don’t care if Lin Dan actually uses 23 lbs anyway, he probably wreck me with a steel racket)
But yeah feel free to share, I can give you that excel file if you want anyway, make good use of it
