Hmm SYX defeated Koki Watanabe, a bright young japanese prospect only to loose against Cheam June Wei. Also, Lakshya literally destroyed Tech ZS (21-8 only21-8) to loose against Tanongsak. Both these youngsters still have serious fitness issue, LS more than SFX. If he can't play equally good in two matches in day, he'll never qualify to main draw of a "decent" tournament. Not taking anything away from Tanongsak, the chap can trouble many big guns, but it's just a pattern we have seen from all Lakshya's matches. Including the one against Marc C in the PBL. The physical factor dominates the technical one in MS by many folds. If he need any headstart in Sr career against his other talented opponents (from Jr circuit) he better hit that gym hard

Forgive my ignorance, but how do you qualify for a Super 300 tournament? I assume if you're above a certain ranking you get a spot, but then there are the qualifying spaces and what's the criteria for that? Whilst their score against Arisa and Yuta may not be flattering it's still mightily impressive that someone that age managed to qualify
