I will say MD is different these days. Gotta accept it and move on. is nothing less better shown than the 2 contrasting SF yesterday

When CY/FHF burst into the scene, they arent a young pair anymore , even JJS isnt that young. they dont play these kind of fast and furious style of play. I think most pairs play like Boe/Mog. Even Endo/Haya.

However if you keep defending like Endo who is one of the last breeds left, its very hard to win titles. Its outdated style of play. and the up and coming pairs you can see, they dont focus on defence at all. Look at AaronSoh , HanZhou or the young Indian pair. Honestly they wont have time for that style of play anyway.

Well, unfortunately it's just how it is, whether we like it or not. MDs have become so aggressive lately.
Even Hendra can not stay that "cool" nor "expressionless" anymore. I saw a different fire in him and it made him a better player even among the new generation, imo. I like him more now than before:)

While I think Kevin antics shows immaturity, I still think that it is better than some players who cheat, whether cheating in game or cheating their spouses(sorry, out of topic). I believe Kevin is not someone who resorts to cheating to win.

Some people may not like it when watching the game. I sometimes did not like it, especially when he kept taunting even after the opponent stops. If it is just a reaction of something, I find it entertaining, add more excitement.

Back to back titles for minions. they've been incredible these last 2 weeks. I kinda hope they would take it easy next week at thailand open, I don't care if they lose in the first round...their focus should be on the world championship now.

They are scheduled to play there. Of course, they can choose to withdraw. Taking a break is nice. But, we all know what will happen to minions when they take break a bit too long. 2018 TC is the testament for that.

I see. Minions are not the type who would take things easy either in any tournament.
I forgot the draw in TO. Who are they playing in R1?

Ivanov/Sozonov. And, surprise, they can potentially meet Ou/Zhang in R2.

The break between BAC and Indonesian Open was also quite long and they managed to turn things around since then, so I guess it depends what they do with the break

Wait, there is SC in between. But, yeah, the break is over one month between SC and Indonesia Open. I think minions struggled a bit in R1 Indonesia Open. They won in rubber game.

Ah right. In that case maybe they should withdraw and prepare for WC. Let Ou/Zhang proceed further haha, if they can pass R1 that is..
