    Hi all
i bought the gamma 5003 string machine along with the Wise tension head. works like a charm
Kwun: the aluminum plate that you used to ensure you still have 360 rotation. DO you or any one knows where i can get a pre fabricated plate to order??
I have been using this machine with the gamma adapter for close to a year now and would really love to have the 360 rotation to reduce my stringing time.

    Hayden,

Quick fix is to add huge metal thick spacer on the axle under the turn table

that can be a solution. however what size block do you suggest. also i will bead longer screws to hold down the turn table.
on the other hand wouldnt this method make the turn table more unstable?
    Just my thoughts.

Nope. Works fine. You don't need longer screws

hard to say between my solution and the thick spacer. the spacer also need to be custom made to accomodate for the screw hole pattern. not easy. my solution requires drilling 5-6 screw size hole in a 6mm Aluminium plate. i think that's a bit easier.

unfortunately there isn't a ready made solution. you will have to custom made it. the custom is only drilling a few holes as mentioned. not hard to do.

I am planning to buy 6004, what exactly is badminton end support & why do I need it? I thought I could use gamma 6004 for stringing badminton as its said in their website.

The "new" Gamma 6004 comes with universal supports and clamps so you don't really need anything else to string badminton racquets.

Thanks for replying, I am actually buying from someone selling locally (a friend's friend), he only used it for tennis so he isn't aware. He got it in 2011 or so, here is pic, can you tell me if I will need anything extra. Thanks in advance. Link to pic -> https://i.imgur.com/oBktZTI.png

Those are the older supports. You'll need to buy the badminton side support adapters for better results.

Thanks, do you have a link to where I can buy those? How much are they? I found this on ebay -> https://www.ebay.com/itm/Gamma-L-Sh...-Machine-Shoulder-Adaptor-4-Pack/291248801765 , do you think they should be sufficient or would I need something else as well? Would I need different clamps as well or the one it has should be good?

Thanks a lot, bud! I guess I will buy the machine and buy these separately. It looks in pretty decent condition and the person selling is asking USD 500, do you think its a fair deal?

    here:

    https://www.badmintoncentral.com/fo...-stringing-machine.110111/page-8#post-1899702

the badminton 12 and 6 oclock support, they are 3 finger and low profile, which replaces the default 1 finger for tennis. they are not necessary but would be nice to have.

the side supports though, are more important to change as the tennis support is really clunky. they should come with the machine but if you bought it used the seller might not have them.

and $500 is a really good price!

these are the correct ones. the 6004 ones have a hexagonal shaped tube that inserts into the machine.

@Preetish Kakkar if you look at my post:

    https://www.badmintoncentral.com/fo...-stringing-machine.110111/page-8#post-1899702

you will see what they look like and where they go.
