because JPN coach interfered (shouted) in the mid of rally :rolleyes:

    It happened twice??

In world championship match. The tournament referee is looking pretty stupid as well.

hmmm... i'd disagree with that. tty's mentality appears to be the same in every tournament. maybe you're confusing that with not having an extra gear. big difference.

Such a close call, really could've gone either way. As luck would have it, Du/Li comes out on top

JPN WD really need to learn to serve lol
Poor Taka/Matsu, those medical breaks disrupted their focus I suspect.
Should thank their coach for interrupting during the rally too

Zhang Jun jumps up in celebration and for a moment I thought he's going to rip his top off.

I didn't expect such weak mental strength from TakaMatsu at the end, but it was still very tense and enjoyable. Even with that weird let from the umpire mid-rally.

Takamatsu lost a lot of points due to their serve.

Wow, one WD match lasted for more than 2 hours. Crazy! Must be extremely exhausted for both pairs and everyone who watch the match.

Their infamously loud-mouthed coach messed up for them -- doesn't the umpire know that he can yellow or even red card the coach and chase him off the court?

That ''let'' after the 87-shot rally did more damage to the JPN than CHN....

BTW, JPN coach has been fined and red-carded before for shouting and interrupting play -- must be some kind of seniority or nepotism that's keeping him in the National Team (as the most senior ethnic Japanese coach)

The fact that they couldn't capitalise on li yinhui's cramp make it harder to accept that they lost. It's like Hendra Setiawan and Chia / Soh in AE lol

No, it's more like semifinal AE when Hendra got injured the first time vs Kam/Son.
