    Agreed.
Hell, you can even see in the picture, there is no more room for him!
How can you fit 6 people + 2 giant on a tiny podium, simple brother, you can't.

Thanks, he is practically complaining that "is certain media unaware of the fact and fanning the flames , that there is no room for me on the podium, so I was being disrespectful for not joining in, am I supposed to push (one of) them out?"

LOL...anyone with any sense of social interaction can clearly see that he CHOSE not to be part of the group.

Everyone was making room, and if he had stepped up they would 100% have squeezed in further. The INA B team was crouching ffs.

Second, even if you believe the “he couldn’t fit on the podium” theory he still could have put one leg on the podium. Or at least stood beside his partner. Or crouched in front. Instead he stood 3 feet away from the group looking the other way the whole time.

Enough with the half baked excuses already.

Common sense... you mean biased opinion against Li Junhui because he is not friendly with Kevin Sukamuljo?
    I see...Right...

He is a well mannered person (as normal human should be) and know the limit to something. Of course if he can't stand on the
podium, he doesn't want to waste everyone's time, especially INA's.

And even if some of them decided to crouch, Kobayashi and Hoki would fall down from the podium, haha.

Kevin? When did I say anything about him? Stop changing the subject and just admit he clearly couldn’t man up and show some sportsmanship for the photo. As a national team member, you’d think he’d have some solidarity at least for his partner.

    Make sense...no.

If there is no space, then you shouldn't make it hard for everyone else. Take on for the team bro.

Just correcting some false and bias belief toward some player for no reason.
Common sense will prevail in the end. :)

Looking the other way? - as shown in the picture at first? You are splitting hairs and reading your own small-minded thinking onto him. Have you read his explanation on social media as posted by heri93 (thanks to him)? So , he is supposed to stand there looking sadly at the podium all the time and shedding tears for being left out for all the world to see ? What's the big deal that you have to question his character or motive and refuse his explanation?

Mind you, Li Junhui is one big, tall guy standing at 1.95 m.

Put one leg up the podium - and look stupid and be criticized even more for being rude ? Or at least stood beside his partner or crouched in front and still be the odd one out? For all you know, he actually felt left out for , after all, he was the defending world champion, you know. Relax, why are you so sore over such a minor incident, nay, non-issue, who would still be talking about it a few days down the road, let alone remember it?

Let's see if any of the other six podium finishers take offence at it.

Looks like some people's stubborn and yet wrong opinion cannot be changed.
Alas, people with eyes can already see it.

You mean, high school kids are more forgiving, big-hearted, pally, open-minded, less likely to bear grudges and think more positively than adults who tend to be overly sensitive and easily offended ?

I wonder what the other six podium finishers, all adults, feel about it, with or without Li Junhui's explanation on social media.

Watching a whole tournament live is a bit tiring with many late evenings at the arena, I have not made any post since the 2nd day . In a couple of days when I get back to my home country I will write some more about my World Championship experience :)

It already happened way before he was standing on the podium.

Right to feel disappointed but wheres the right to respect.

Anyone can understand when JiaYifan the 1st to hug SYQ in SudirmanCup and also stand beside him during Podium. Do you think its co incidence. why doesnt he be there instead if LiuYuchen i wonder.. If he was there in LYC, i dont think LYC will be standing 3 feet away. Of course, Liu much more magnanimous in defeat.

unfortunately , it will show up what kind of person he is to many people. Its his fault if thats the impressions that people have on him. Dont need no explaining in Weibo man if theres nothing wrong.
