Drawing board is for tactics and strategy discussion, nothing to do with racket used. My point to everyone here is most MS are using 3u rackets I'm sure and only Ginting is yielding a 4u 88D. Very very unique of him indeed.

Kento Momota is using an atrox 99 4u G6. You should stop with your theory about MS always have to use 3U to yield victory. It's like you're claiming 3U will get you more wins than 4U. You should go back to getting more tactics and skills to play the game rather sitting here and compare racket to racket to get you wins. Get more training bro.
People should stop arguing whether 3U or 4U is better for singles or doubles etc. Use what connects to your arm the best and feels the best for yourself.

Not sure if u can out drive Tan wee kiong who used a VTZF for doubles I think it's really dependent on the player. How well the racket moulds to be an extension of your arm will decide if the racket is suitable for you. Perhaps your opponent should stick to something lighter and more suited for them.

You're applying a false dichotomy while being a little bit rude about it at the same time. Saying MS isn't about power anymore is quite absurd. Firstly you're implying that it once was, and secondly you are missing the fully rounded nature of the men's singles game. Men's singles (and indeed Ladies singles, too) Involves the full range of skills, and undoubtedly power has it's place along side being able to read your opponent's shot, good movement, good shot quality, good deception, etc. etc. etc. While some players, like Momota, might excel at retrieval and defence, you still need a full arsenal of weapons to get to the top.
Does it even matter what they use? Honestly the pro level plays are so far compared to us mere mortals. Just because KM is using 3U Astrox 99 means that's the racket to use to be good at MS no matter what level you are. I find it a bit funny that a lot of people who are basically high-beginner playing with 88D, 99 or even Z-strike. None of them can generate power with those stiff shafts. Heck, I switched to what people would consider ladies racket, duora 7 with 22lbs BG80 and now i feel super comfortable smacking any balls from the back court because I can generate the swing speed and have enough repulsion from the string
And there's the best comment so far. U use what you're comfortable with and what gives you the best performance. Although marketing rackets with champions is what sells rackets! But I've gotta say the Astrox series has been good for Yonex.
People love to make up for their lack of skill with equipment. Sometimes it just brings personal enjoyment to them which is what matters to them.
They don't use your money to buy high end rackets, so it is up to them to buy whatever rackets they want. And please don't discuss what racket you use or whatever tension in professional player's racket thread, thank you.
