ASG is 22. Care to check how good, how consistent, and how much of an attacking player LCW was at that age?

Oh come on if it was other player they could have won that winner with eyes closed.

I'm not talking about his matches against Momota alone. Against much lower ranked players in G1 he can make 1000% more mistakes than he made in G3 in today's match.

Good to see Chen Qinchen smashing more and harder at the rear court.

However, i think ASG cant be as attacking or consistent as LCW whether he is 22 or 20. LCW is just another beasts. I think Malaysia will be really happy if there is some player like Ginting. All the players are different.

LCW is just super hardworker, he gets better as his age though i dont know how come he still has so much attacking power after 30 while LD is already down.

I just hope there is more rivalry between KentoMomota and Ginting. This will be good for badminton, they have already met 13 times? In his style of play, only ASG can match KM. CL is good but he is getting older and SYQ is injured.

I find it totally different first it's like comparing LCW 2008 to KM... LCW version 2008 was not as good as a player as KM is. And LD played a very aggressive game this day you are totally right but he had a very different player than Ginting had in front of him on this day and LCW returned a lot of weak shuttles on his forehand side which had LD attack like a mad man to win straight points. Ginting is all out even when KM is back to base and knowing KM is a strong defender. That's a very different situation imo.

You're totally right. Ginting has many things to improve and not only against KM...

Takahashi didn't smash much in the latter part, probably losing confidence after hitting the net several times.

#1 #2 #3 in the world, double WCs, double WC runners up, Olympic champs. They're doing quite well with such a lousy coach.

Ginting was born on Oct. 20, 1996 and LCW was born on Oct. 21, 1982,
    so Ginting's 2019 is pretty much like LCW's 2005.

At the end of 2005, LCW had 5 titles (2005 Denmark Open, 2005 Malaysia Open, 2004 Chinese Taipei Open,
2004 Malaysia Open and 2003 Malaysia Satellite)
and 3 finals (2004 Singapore Open, 2003 India Satellite and 2003 Malaysia Open).

So far, Ginting has 3 titles ((2018 China Open Super 1000, 2018 Indonesia Masters Super 500
and 2017 Korea Open) and 3 finals: nothing to be ashamed compared to LCW at this point,
    Ginting is still developing.
