With this kind of quality, I am not sure why they aren't winning many tournaments, Fajar and Rian. Play hard. Train harder.
Fajar/rian won! good challenge by rian at the end. Gill said that fajri is the first indonesian MD to win korea open since the inception of SS, wow. Hopefully this is gonna be their turning point, they're so hard to beat when they're believing in themselves more.
Fun fact: Since the start of 2017, Kento Momota and Chou Tien Chien have played 177 and 180 matches respectively. The average for the other 18 top 20 players is 120. Only two other players have even played more than 140 matches (SYQ 145, ASG 143).
They are good when playing well, but lack consistency...for example.. They played well in Asian games last year, but cannot keep the same intensity for the rest of the year
I was not even bored enough yet to count WS (yes, I actually counted, because the tournament software stats are faulty imo) and there'd have to be significant changes in my life to be so incredibly bored to do the same for xd. It's also not as interesting a stat in my opinion, because the physical effort for a singles match is surely much higher.
Mostly because of rian, I've lost count how many games that they lost because he can't even serve properly at crucial times, not to mention his unforced errors.
