Sankar is younger than Meiraba and Satish. Maybe 14 or 15. I think he chose to play in Bahrain because he wasn't selected in WJC due to undesired result in qualification tournament . OTOH, players like Samiya, Gayathri and Priyanshu who don't have any praiseworthy results in juniors skipped qualification tournament for WJC. Only a fool will skip WJC.
Sameer verma is OUT. I don't know what happened to indian players lately. Last year he was good . And this year he is nowhere to be seen.

No, not a junior. Onodera is a 24 year-old Unisys player, who was actually on Japan's B team in 2018. As he is no longer on the national team this year, he is not receiving any national funding to take part in international tournaments, ... but this has not stopped Onodera from venturing out.
