Too bad for Zheng/Huang, Ct2 no Hawk-Eye. Jordan/Pktavianti are adamant to keep the shuttle down at all cost, lifting when forced to, wary of Zheng Siwei's smashing prowess. And the INA XD pair barely got away with it, winning the three-setter by the narrowest of margin.

At the same time, ZSW/HYQ were surprisingly error-prone today, esp ZSW. I'm sure they would know how to counter the INA's strategy next time, and not be so error-prone again.

Can’t muster Hawkeye for 3 courts at QF stage of a Super 750 event?

That would be pretty weak, BWF...

Hm, the amount and gravity of VA's errors is really astonishing. That he is still leading is a good indicator of how overrated Anders Luckdrawsen really is. Shi Yuqi needs to come back asap to lift the quality of the lower half of tournament draws.

Looks like Danish players are using the same tactic as Chinese years ago - first game is competitive and whoever wins that is allowed to win the second game easily.

Seriously, this match did not live up to the expectations. Looks like both players are too nervous to play at their normal level.

Yeah i was thinking the same thing. With VA and Shi Yuqi gone and KM dominating, AA looked somewhat decent, but there's still a big difference between these three and the rest of the MS field.

Well, of course VA is nervous. He needs to proof that he's still the danish number 1 after coming back from his injuries

Just looked it up, dude is now 5-10 vs top players this year, and "top players" include SWH, Chen Long, JC and ASG, all of whom didn't have an exactly stellar year so far.

I can assure you that this is not the case. Regardless of what it may look like.

Rasmus Gemke obviously won't win this against Momota, but you just have to admire his fighting spirit

it's not because the disappointing results, but mostly the circumstances that leading into it.

Coming late and skipping practices without notice, went out at night and didn't come back to dorm. It was mostly Jordan, but they said T. Ahmad always had this problems since but Natsir was good at communication and able to bring Ahmad back on track.

    R. Mainaky even said that when Jordan went missing from practice, Oktavianti didn't even know where is he or try to contact her partner. She simply replied 'I don't know'.

This behaviour was started by Camilla Martin of Denmark. That’s who you should be blaming

So Jordan is a party animal huh...that explains a lot. Maybe all those errors are from being half hung over half the time...

Seriously tho...the situation must have been pretty darn bad for PBSI to call him out in public like that...

Praveen Jordan is another classic example of an athlete with million $ talent yet not even ten cent of brain and dedication.
