Phew, GInting won. Despite his numerous of UEs, I am relieved that he can win against KM. It's good to rectify their H2H for a while.
So it looks like Ginting gives Momota the most trouble, of all the players (maybe SYQ gives Momota trouble too). If my memory is correct, Momota just avoided Ginting at this year's WC. So Momota was kind of lucky. If Momota faces Ginting in the Olympics, Ginting could be the player that could take Momota down. Momota still has a nice H2H recording against Ginting since Momota came back from his suspension, and I even recall one tournament where Momota beat Ginting in 2 sets and held Ginting to single digits in points. But other that the tournament where Momota beat Ginting in 2 sets and held him to a single digit in points, most of the Ginting vs Momota matches since Momota came back from suspension have been pretty close.
Todays result in KM and ASG match completely does not matter, but KM showed just unimaginable fighting will and champion spirit... truly glad to get possibility to witness such player

Maybe, but being a sportsman also means pushing your limits. And all kudos to Momota for doing that. Indeed, despite Momota's level of fatigue, Ginting was actually in danger of losing G2.
as usual KM already read ASG attacking pattern in second set and nealy force rubber, too bad he really out of stamina
Just like in many animes, one of the beauty and inspring from sport is go beyond, break your limit to achieve something big for your belove ones, your honor
@It'sMeMeMe already sleeping ? his "favorite" pair just destroy the number 2 seed dechapol/sapsiree..
apparently all it takes is just a little threat and the brain finally caught up with the brawn.....far easier than the 18 months Hulk spent doing the same
though i'm really unsure how long this 'new' form will last.....oh well might as well enjoy it while it lasts...
