China losing singles victory, Thailand claims two and one title holder extending glory, it's Macau Open conclusion.

Almost all the top-seeds prevail except men's singles category. Thai duo Puavaranukroh/Taerattanachai outplay the unseeded TPE combination Wang CL/Cheng CY, 21-11 / 21-8 in shortest duration of final day. Then Michelle Li defends her title to outwit Chinese back up Han Yue who practically dictated by her smarter opponent, 18-21 / 8-21.

Things are going intense in next three matches, Du Y/Li YH grab second BWF Tour title in this year after German Open seven months ago, eliminate Thailand number one Kititharakul/Prajongjai in three games. The Chinese duo are totally blank and so passive in second game but come back to their powersful style in final game, 21-16 / 10-21 / 21-12.

Shi Yuqi fails to end his comeback tournament with flying colors, the Chinese had blazing start 21-12 then began to produce uncharacteristic errors and lack of accuracy, 14-21. The worst circumstances arrived in third game when Shi was practically couldn't do too much and move properly while Thammasin capitalised his rival condition to smash all the way as displayed by single digit scoreline, 7-21. World number 6 was quite limping at the end of match. It's not too bad result for Shi YQ, standing on podium as runner-up, pocketing 5,950 point to upgrade his Tokyo Race ranking.

Last match, Li/Liu break deadlock here to clinch second MD crown after S750 in Kuala Lumpur last April. The towering duo pushed to work extra hard by their teammates Huang KX/Liu C, 21-8 / 18-21 / 22-20, the latter had better chance in deciding game, leading all the way until, 20-18 but couldn't convert two match points, so frustrated atmosphere as Liu Cheng got red card due to misconduct, slamming his racket on the floor at last point.

Feel bad for SYQ. He was definitely struggling a lot after long matches.

He’s definitely better in terms of skills and wits on court. As you’ve mentioned, he’s a very smart player whereas Kantaphon is stronger when it comes to smashes and durability. However, he’s pretty straight forward. Not as much varieties and his shot selection isn’t very good. He has gotten much better with Angus Dwi Santoso as his coach. (more patience and actually making opponents move around court instead of just smash at everything like he used to lol)

ZhangNan , LiLiu & KamuraSonoda currently has same number of SS titles.. with 4 titles and they actually contested same number of Finals - 10 in total.

You would say with 1 OG & WC the edge goes to ZN

Yeah. wish ZN can have as many titles in MD just like he did in XD.

Better if it can be switched around.
