Yeah I know she's young and inconsistent. To me her technique is just so so if you compare it with RI at same age-- but you guys praise her like there's no tomorrow what I mean hey she just beat unfit players what's so grand about it?
We shall see how she progresses in future.

I confused it with TTY, my mistake. Dunno about PVS but her fans said she only cares about majors.

Malaysian fans better not miss tomorrows schedule because judging from their opponents, and our records, none would survive to Saturday

Agreed, ASY still needs a lot more time for many things. She’s good and improving fast which is amazing but people gave her so much hype. RI has done this before, she’s still here and has never left Top 10 since she was the exact same age as ASY right now.

Actually if you think about it. Dun you think it's an achievement that there are 4 representative in the quarters. And also I actually think there is a chance in doubles. It seems that age is catching up with the "daddies". As for the rest. I expect a huge trashing.

Well Carolina Marin was definitely fit and in good form when asy beat her considering the fact that Marin just thrashed tty a day ago.

Have you ever considered the fact that this tournament is in China and hbj has an advantage considering that she is in China? Also I agree. Being young asy does have issues with heavy hitters.

I don't think so. TTY wasn't fit when CM "trashed" her in the SF.

Talking about fitness, both TTY and CM had just played a grueling rubber sets match against PVS and RI respectively the day before.
ASY had more relatively easier path comparatively.

Just watched ASY’s match vs HBJ.

ASY did her usual Marin-copycat scream after every point, and HBJ did her usual game of silence all the way through.

But ASY couldn’t even manage to turn her face toward HBJ for the post-game handshake. Crudeness...

You either haven't watched the matches (TTY-CM, CM-ASY) or just ignorant.
TTY had a back problem (according to Elta sports - that's Taiwanese TV) when she 'got thrashed' by CM.
To HBJ there's no such thing as home advantage only home disadvantages, IYKWIM.

Sudirman Cup, I assume. Didn't she make a 'dance' post-match?

Lol, she is the odd one out. :D

Are the games starting soon for today? Surprised that I don't see any upcoming streams scheduled on the BWF Youtube channel.
