I thought BWF learned their lesson about having an official from the same country as one of the competing teams... How does this crap keep happening...it’s such terrible optics for the sport. Whether he is biased or not, the mere perception of bias is enough to cause controversy...
Steen says shetty asks his partner to move back. But he actually he asks his partner to smash. 'Maar maar' means smash smash. Sent from my SM-G600FY using Tapatalk
CHN team wasn’t sure the CHN players could win the match, so they deployed the CHN service judge to even things up... That’s the perception this absurd scenario invites.
Even i thought that too. Simply unbelievable. How could we find errors from service judge?. There should be some feature . Otherwise it is impossible Sent from my SM-G600FY using Tapatalk
It’s looked that way for the past couple of tournaments. Luckily there’s still PJ/MO to make it an interesting final...
What Shetty needs to do is lower his serve not keeps running to the umpire everytime he got faulted. How sure are you its service Judges fault not shetty's?
*LJH expectantly looking at the service judge* He: you guys suck , I could only use my card so many times.
I still want indian players to say ' namaskar' to greet umpires and players. Nothing wrong in shaking hands. But i still want them to this as an addition. What a performance from indian pair! . Apart from the controversial 4 or 5 service faults, everything worked as plannex. Sent from my SM-G600FY using Tapatalk
I’m not saying who’s “fault” it is. I’m saying that having a service judge from the same country as one of the competing teams creates a perception of potential bias that casts doubt on the result regardless of the validity of the call.
