No more G08. So I'm testing other grips. I know who the OEM is and what model grip but cannot afford an entire run myself! Sent from my SM-J510FN using Tapatalk
I was in contact with him today, so he's definitely still active. Just try it again, maybe your first mail got stuck in a spam filter.
How are the yellow g-10 in terms of tackiness? I've only tried the white g10. Guess I have to stock up now, since he's retiring D:
Yellow is the best balance between tackiness and maneuverability (ie still able to change gripping quickly during rallies). White is next best but dirties easily. Pink is tackiest but impossible to change grip quickly. Sent from my SM-G965W using Tapatalk
these seems to be the same thickness as g08: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32830620830.html first word in description - absorbent, anyone would like to order?
Been lurking for a long time and just realize I'm down to my last 60 G09. Maybe kinda late but I had a dozen grips I kept stored away from an order back in 2010 to see if there is any expiry date. Gripped two rackets up, 1 in pink and 1 in white and they feel just as great as a newer batch, the white one seems to show a bit more crumbling / peeling after 4 sessions compare to the pink. Compared to my ex-favorite Karakal grips kept in the same conditions and time frame just disintegrate after a game. I am totally satisfied with RKEP grips and happy retirement to Eric.
Apparently he still operates out of his home(?) according to some recent posts on the RKEP socks thread. Shoot him an email. Sent from my SM-G988W using Tapatalk
I have approximately 100 g08s (orange, red, yellow, black, green) that I would like to move on at a discount. I came from the g09 but wasn't a huge fan. If anyone in Australia would be interested in taking them off my hands let me know.
Send Eric email: rkeptrading@gmail.com He doesn't sell on ebay anymore, but he is still getting the grips made regularly.
