Hmm Ahsan/Hendra should be able to get through to SF. The other one is probably going to be a battle between Chia/Soh and Lee/Wang.

Chen Long hasn’t been that impressive, but Viktor is making too many mistakes especially judging the drift. Should be better for him on the other side, provided he hasn’t lost his cool by now

KamSon getting thoroughly beaten in the second game by EndoWatanabe. They look like they're holding back ..maybe after sonoda's episode during all japan they don't want to exert or something?

I think that Kamura may also be injured... The Tonami coach implied as much last weekend after the team's S/J League tie-up against Hitachi. Neither player appeared to be moving today.

Well, they won't be losing any points here because they didn't qualify for WTF last year so it is possible.
Endo/Wata, on the other hand, needs to get to Final to defend their points.

KamuraSonoda playing it smart, if they win once , they can still qualify (probably they will try harder had they winG1). If not finish 3rd still get some money.

Better to stay safe then get injured. I remembered ShiYuqi got lucky win in IO R1 then he got injured jn R2. Had he known it, he will rather lost in R1. Never been the same since then.

2-2. Ginting has positive head to head stats against other group competitor, 6-4 (Chou & Chen).

Chen Long who has passed his prime and trying to regain best form is still tough for Axelsen to beat, if the Dane played more patient and minimized errors, he should had chance.

Interesting how neither pair made a sound after a rally even on match point...

After some long noisy WD matches, it's supposed to be refreshing.. Still muting that side of the court though.
