    Hi,

I recently broke my 4U BS12 and I was looking into getting a newer generation racket. Which of the two rackets with be closer/an improvement to BS12 4U? (I'm more of a control-type doubles player, and I do not have trouble generating force with 4U)

The Auraspeed 90s is stiffer than bs12 but not as stiff as js10.
It's a very good all round racket

I'd like to try the ARS80X but for the sake of my wallet I have resisted so far. I have ARS90S in 4U and 3U. Both are great rackets. I prefer the 3U.

I think AS80x would be a better choice. AS90s is more difficult to play compared to AS80x in overall. BS12 is known for its playability and I think AS80x fit the same description. A lot of players I know moved from 90s to 90k but it's definitely heavier.
If you don't mind switching brands, Yonex's Nanoflare 700 is exactly what you're looking for.

Curious, why do you think the NF700 would be a good replacement for a BS12?

Aerodynamic frame with diamond shape cross-section from top to bottom and a shaft that is flexible.
