88D 4U much better The sound of the racket isnt satisfying Feels not so good. I need more sessions before making conclusion.
i can put a hole on the floor with my powerfull smash using my 3U head heavy TK770, but my friend hardly able to smash with it. But using his NF700, his smash is way better than when using my racket. Other hand i hardly able to scratch the floor with my friend NF700. So which one is better racket? My TK770 heaviness, stiffness & all fit & sync well with my strength, swing speed, & stroke habit. So does my friend with his NF700. ..... Ok i admit, i didnt put a hole & im just exaggerating my story, but well you get what i mean.
in all england Lee Zii Jia's bxr half of head was covered with athletic tape - that probably says quite a lot.
I own the auraspeed 90k now, i've strung it at 28 LBS with VBS68. Honestly nothing wrong with the sound. I think the sound is mainly based on strings and tension, not the racket. Besides this, the racket does give a little hollow feedback, but when i use VBS68 ( Hard strings) it is way better. I think this racket can't be used on low tension with a soft string, would be horrible. The racket doesn't really have that oompf feeling of a good smash. I used to have the yonez DZS which did deliver that. 90k is a great racket, just have to get used to it. It is way faster than the DZS, have nothing else to compare it to.
^^ it's already mentioned here in the forum that it's not. I was wondering as well if 90K has the same hollow feeling as well as JS 12M?
I use BG66 Force for all my rackets and sounds good. Only with 90K, the sound is really not satisfying. My friends all tell the same, they said it also. They found it weird.
Maybe but I dont think bad string job. When hitting the string bed with my palm, it sounds okay. But it sounds different when hitting the shuttlecock.
That is weird indeed, maybe it is because u use medium strings compared to mine hard strings. Think it has to do with the tech used in the racket. Using hard string on the 90k gives a softer feeling compared to others. Used to use soft string in my Yonex DZS, maybe that is why i dont hear any difference.
BG 66 Force is actually slightly thicker than BG 66 Ultimax though both r advertised as 0.65mm. It is probably due to the different materials used for the smoother outer coating on Force. Try stringing BG66 U on 90k n see if it makes a diff. Usually Yonex strings over report their gauge. Ultimax is ~0.68 while Force is actually ~0.72. Both have different stretch tolerance and also depends if stringer apply pre stretch.
I agree 66 Force looks thicker and softer than 66 Ultimax. I have used 66 Force for many years, so I will stick with this string and play again hopefully next month.
