Smar Power badminton trainer

    Hi,

    I stumble upon this Smar Power badminton swing trainer and wanted to hear your guys opinion on this.
    How much effective is this item would be?

    I personally believe it would be effective, but probably not significantly more than just putting a 3/4 racquet cover on your racquet and swinging it around.

    I actually did something similar to that device when I was a teenager. If you flatten a regular shuttle tube, and fold the bottom over so that it's roughly the size of a racquet handle at the bottom, you can swing it the same way they do in the video and it will have the same whipping action.

    Basically you can use any heavy object & dont need any specific or special item like that.

    So far i had use few thing to practice badminton stroke. Like plastic bottle filled with sand, a broken mousquito racket, & shuttle tube. The good thing, all that come free:D

    Or you can also buy training racket which have more weigh than usual like the yonex tr0 / tr1 which are 120g and 150g
