So, my current insole is kinda flat. Expected from long use, so im looking for new insole. I see Yonex insole but it quite expensive, almost like buying new low end shoes. Then i saw Victor XD8/10. Looking around on online shop, but it seems they dont have my big foot size. So is there any risk having smaller insole? The only thing come up in my mind would be my insole slide inside the shoes but idk. Anyway my shoes are Victor SHA950CA size:45, while the available insole size are M/L (sadly no XL).
Hi I'm from INA too. I noticed that my insole is moved a bit after playing.I wear 44.5, I bought victor XD10 XL size last year. Victor insloes are pretty good. but I prefer yonex ac194 for more cushioning because I am 80kg.
I've bought fake(?) yonex insoles from e78. https://e78.us/Yonex,Wave-Insole-YB-30-1,Insole,YB-30-1?search=insole. These are thicker (around 2x) than the default ones but they are really good and have the same size, fit and shape as normal yonex insoles. But I don't recommend if you already have tight fitting shoes.
are insole shoes common among other type of shoes? While im browsing around i found many brand & few type like. Full silicon gel insole Foam like insole (like lining insole) Foam with gell on the heel area Does it fit for badminton use? 1 thing i notice is that almost all of it had smooth surface on the upper part which i think would be quite slippery on extreme badminton movement. If i read through thr description, those insole are used for relax sport like jogging or walking.
I personally find the gel insoles to be too squishy and slippery so I lose out on a lot of stability. The biggest issue with non-badminton insoles is the fit. Most of them will slide around and be out of place after a few matches unless they have good structure and a heel cup.
