Shame they purged all of LYD design input for the rackets. All the red is gone.

Left side corners do be looking like a dance floor.

Its already put on Yonex.com site but still the same tension range 3U 29lbs, 4U 28lbs. When others had touch 30lbs for their 4U racket, Yonex still not even touch 30lbs for their 3U racket.

wow 88S PRO with 68 grommet system and 88D PRO with 76 system.

I think 88S PRO will have more power than 88D before,
if they are developed by kevin markus, I think the catapult effect will added too,

yes, even so its makes me wonder why Yonex still stay in those number when all their competitor already write down 30lbs or more to their racket spec. Abit letdown actually as mentally those number would makes our mind ease when playing with high tension:(. But i guest the Yonex Magic word on their tech are way more interesting than tension number.:p so why bother risking more warranty claim....

Yonex is so good in that advertisement department, bringing a slight bit of nostalgia to captivate a badminton fan's heart. Even I am compelled to try the 88S&D pro.
Evolution isn't linear, it is cyclical, damnnnnn

Speaking of power, 88 Pros seem not to have more power than old 88, based on Yonex's data.

Honestly, that's more than marginal I feel. I'd love to have 3% more power in my smashes as I love the 88s but feel that I could be more threatening if it had more power, but don't want to swap to a 88d as I play more front.

Japanese reviews are out. Could anybody translate the reviews? Would be appreciated, thanks.

Another reviewer said the holding feel of both rackets have increased, and the shafts feel slightly more flexible based on first impressions

I'm half Japanese. My Japanese isn't nearly as good as it should be but it really doesn't say much. Just drives, drops, lobs, net play, etc is better than the old 88s/d and sweet spot is bigger.

98.8% refers to "rotating power" (translated). I guess it is 1.2% faster than normal racket.

117% is "shuttle holdding" (88S pro). That of 88D pro is 113%.

88S pro has 3% more power, old 88S has 3.1% more.
88D pro has 5% more power, old 88D has 5.4% more.

Please be aware that this is Yonex device. There might be some difference to Victor's.
