The %age of false positives is only 2.3% (really it is below 10%) And getting 7 of them all false positive is oh well, you can say its close to 0%. so BWF needs to explain this. Its better that its postponed to clean up the arena.
Two weeks ago at Swiss Open there were also seven positives results from nearly 450 Tests. As annonced on BWF side it was a coach from Bulgaria (so Mitsoya was out of tournament) , one umpire and five linejudges. The LJ were tested in a row within 40 Minutes. All five were false positives as it turned out later.

Once again. It has nothing to do with BWF. The decision is made by the UK government. In this pandemic, they make the decision. The event could only take place under the terms of the UK Government. Whether these conditions are all logical is another question. That is the price that the athletes (and supporters) have to pay in order to enjoy live badminton at all. The other alternative would have been to cancel the event completely. This would have meant that badminton would not have been shown on television, that athletes would not have been able to present their sponsors and that the athletes would not have been able to pursue their profession and thus would not have been able to win prize money. It's a high price, that's right. But we have to pay it!
@Bardie whatever you said BWF are so poor and bad as World Sport Body Organization Sent from my Redmi 8 using Tapatalk
From 7+ to 7- in a day is a suspicious enough. However had the INA team handnt been banned, no one will care how bwf turns 7+ to 7- within a day because it happened ‘before’ the announcement. If they cant show the paper that the players are negative then its fair to say that they are lying. And since its a private healthcare, any reports can always be made; why cant they ensure they use 1 official tester. And yes if its positive then it is positive, just do the retests , wait another 3 days for results and skip the competition. what happened is beyond cruel. Why should you be quarantine for another 5 days just to see other people winning and they can even leave faster than you. Its beyond excruciating. How cant they thought of this happening. its possible that INA team will not play in AllEngland for the next couple of years.
Yuta and endo are on another level...would've been nice to see them play minions! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
What happened to lakshya Sen's match . When I checked the score , he was leading the second game. But no scores in Tournament software
