Lots of reviews say techtonic 7 to be great all rounder and masterpiece racket
Limited astrox 88d pro review says good power, slightly more flex and great control
    Which one to prefer..??

I was actually looking to get and review 100zz, Tectonic 7D, Turbocharging 80 all 4u, for fun, all 3 seem very positive, and also cause I have some 25k fitness money to burn before June. WFH situation seem like non ending, cases raising, clubs not opening is making me kind of help less.

I would say if you have money to buy one, you probably can buy both, why don't you try both and post review here? (If you are able to play these days)

I’m playing badminton since may 17 2020 ( after partial lockdown)
All clubs are open in my place
Regarding getting both rackets it will cost around 23-24k
Also astrox 88d pro is not available yet
Lining tech 7 will cost 11k
After sad demise of ld force, I’m looking for high end racket , not too stiff
    These two seemed right option
    Will c

I got tectonic 7 last Monday
Strung with bg 66 Force 27lbs
Have tried comparing it with jpx limited (i don't have 88Dpro :( )
Feels more solid and the shaft is more stable and stiffer than jpx even though jpx says it has a stiff shaft.
Easy to use, the shaft feels around medium to stiff, even balance, and ig the repulsion power n touch feeling is the best thing from this racket. IMO jpx wins in terms of power and steep smash is easier over tectonic 7.

I don't have 88d Pro but I do have Tec7 and quite a few rackets from Yonex.

It's true that Tectonic 7 is a great all rounder.
I can bet that the Tec7 is more flexible and more user-friendly than 88d pro.
About control and power, it's depended on your technique...

It would be easier to give advise if you can tell us your current racket and impression on it.

    Hi
I used ld force matt black 4u g5
It was good powerful but not speedy
I got shoulder pain after intense games ( (fitness issues and muscles are not that good to wield this beast for long time )
    I loved solid feeling
Now I’m looking for head heavy and medium to stiff racket ( not too stiff )
Based on few reviews astrox 88d pro is less stiff
    Heard techtonic is good too

Not to stiff, more user friendly compare to OG 88d, old one feel a lot stiffer. its a head heavy, but not to much. more faster than old 88d

Based on what Viscrow said, 88d pro 4u would be suitable for you.
My main racket before were Zstrike and 100zz, and I found Tectonic 7 a bit too soft for smash/drive.

would you say astrox 100zz is better all rounder than tectonic 7?
i tried 100zz and loved the feeling of hitting the shuttle with it, but i'm just concerned that it will be bad for my arms with extended use.

100zz is much stiffer so will require much better power generation. Tec7 is like most people can pick it up and use it

Depend on your ability to say which is better actually.

The 100zz is a bit on head-heavy side, so it's more attack-oriented type.

If you can comfortably play defensive game with 100zz, definitely go for it.

Have you decided which racket to buy?
I would like to share my thoughts of those 2 rackets.
The 88D Pro definitely a power racket. I tried the 4U version. When I can get good position to hit the shuttle, the power is great, but if I am late or out of position, the racket is very hard to get a good swing because of the head heaviness and rather stiff shaft. Well, my power is not at the pro level yet to get good swing from any position like the pros do.:p

The Tectonic 7, I find the racket is easy to use. The shaft is flex. Great control racket with little to no time to adapt. The cons is when I did continuous smash, the racket becomes heavy and heavier. Could it be because the flex shaft that bend too much and not recover yet for the next smash?
