Decided to go with Tec 7.
100zz is an excellent racket for my play style (offensive all-rounder).
But, I'm just having concerns with its user-friendliness.

Tectonic 9 is around the corner, features are a bit more closer to 100zz/zx than Tectonic 7, like thin shaft, BP etc, more flex. If you can wait you can decide after it is released.

hopefully it doesn't let me down. fingers crossed

Tectonic 7 is an easy to use racket and little to no time to adapt. So I'm sure you won't be disapointed. I also would choose Tectonic 7 over 100ZZ since I don't like the feel of 100ZZ

    IT'S FINALLY HERE BOYS!
I played with it last night and it's a great racket, i must say.
I can finally share my experience with both rackets.
Below are my thoughts, based on experience, okay?
Please don't take it as gospel.

    POWER
Tec 7 is actually has power, which surprised me.
It's power is comparable to my Astrox 39.
In terms of smashing power, it is better than 100zz.

    FEELING
With the tec 7, you get solid hitting shots (minor vibration, very negligible).
The feel is not as solid as the 100zz though.

    CONTROL
100zz still has better control, IMO.
I'm still struggling with the control of tec 7.
My slice shots keep going to the net with it.
I did not have this problem with the 100zz.

    SPEED
I would say they're about equal in terms of speed.
Net shots and drive rallies were pretty easy with both rackets.

    DEFENSE
100zz is slightly better in defense for me.
With the 100zz, I don't think I was ever late for a defensive shot, with the tec 7 I think I was for one or two, which was totally my fault, not the racket. I just think I might have done better on those shots with the 100zz.
But you can defend easily with tec 7.
Last night, I constantly surprised my opponents with defensive shots (they thought their shots couldn't be returned; i didn't think so either).

    CLEARS
I was able to to do clears easily with both rackets.
Since tec 7 has more power, sometimes my clears go long though.

    USER-FRIENDLINESS
All I can say is, my wife, who is a beginner, likes the tec 7.
Also, I'm not feeling arm pain today after I smashed like a maniac last night (I did full, half, flick, and some awkward smashes)

    MY CONCLUSION
Between both 100zz and tec 7, the 100zz matches my play style better and was easier to use for me.
However, I am not disappointed that I got the tec 7.
It is a racket that I can definitely work with, I just require a bit more practice with it.
It was only the slice shots wherein I really had problems with it

Hmm.. Is it just me? I don't feel Tectonic 7 is a powerful racket, but got to agree that it is a comfortable racket to play with.
