    Hello guys! First time here!!!

I am a intermediate player, and I'm still finding out my playing style....

I'm currently looking for a new racket, maybe a balanced racket or head heavy (don't too heavy) .. Which one should I get?

    AVP?
    Apacs tantrum 200 iii?
    Honor 200?
What else? Give me your opinion! Thanks guys, love the game!

The 3 you listed are all good rackets. I would lean towards T200ii or H200. Tantrum is the all rounder. H200 being slightly more head heavy but shorter shaft + more aerodynamic head makes it quite quick. AVP is nice but the timing is different. You have to adjust to the swing.

Which Apacs model which is as fast as the AVP but with tad stiffer shaft.. on a good night, medium shaft feels like hi-flex.. All my other stiff shaft is not as fast as AVP.

After borrowing my friend's Astrox 88S (previously mine), it reminds how that racket give confidence in the front court.. so I decided to ordered the pro commander.

Maybe the T2ii or H200 next afterwards... since I also enjoy the feeling of ArcSaber11 (not mine) especially its shuttle hold while smashing.

Apacs has a astrox like frame racket in commander 10, flex shaft but nothing to complain about with the price. A rare surprise from Apacs lately.

I did own the commander 10, but for me it racket was vibrating after each shots, I guessing its because of its slim racket head with flex shaft and 5u weight if IRCC. Strung it with VBS-64 at 24 lbs.

Sold it to my buddies after less than a month.

VBS 64? 63 you mean. Try Ashaway Zymax 68 TX @ 32lb, soft string with BG80 like roughness. My friend got it below Rm100, for that price, nothing to complain.

Thanks for the correction. Its been a long time since I used any VBS strings.

0.68mm strings @ TX 32lb? My chicken wing arms cant compensate with all those.. Thinking of BG66Force @ 24lb with my coming Pro Commander.

Crack. Also looks like high noon. Check if your stringer is using load spreader at the top mount.

    Apacs Valorous 10.

A nice alternative to AVP. Similar design n features. More flexible shaft. Even balance. Lighter, 4u instead of 3u.

Despite being lighter than the AVP, you can still get quite good power and more maneuverable. Smashes are strong.
Must be from the good whipping action which makes it more effortless.

I thought I wouldn't like this when I first got it, but its turning out to be quite a favourite. [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Well so i got avp last year after reading thread and suggestions from people on here. Wasnt impressed at first , but I think the swing is very different and takes a bit time to adjust . After using it for a while, I Like it a lot now and is my go to racket and for doubles especially.

I think its great light racket for defense and still packs enough power for everything else and feels light in hand , But I feel for singles it lacks that extra punch / power to finish off the point vs tough opponents.

I am looking for a racket for Singles that I can seemlessly switch with AVP for singles which has similar swing and frame ( so that I dont have to adjust too much every time I switch ) but packs a bit more power even if It compromises a bit on defence.

Any suggestions AVP owners ? Do you use AVP for singles as well or something else ?
