MS : Momota (hope he finds back his pre-accident form)
MD : Endo/Watanabe (on paper they look the strongest as Minions still can't find a way through them)
WS : TTY (this may be her last Olympic and hopefully she's able to manage her unforced errors during games)
WD : Nagahara/Matsumoto (too close to call, but I think this pair hold a slight home ground advantage)
XD : ZSW/HYQ (this will be a tight squeeze btwn them and the Jap pair)

Woah, didn't expect that none of you guys pick Minions and Tai Tzu Ying

    For me :
    MS : Viktor
    WS : Tai
    MD : Endo/Watanabe
    WD : Mayu / Wakana
    XD : Zheng / Huang

It's kinda weird not seeing the Chinese hogging my predictions, tho.

Those two have never demonstrated they could play their top game in the majors, that’s why. Hopefully they make it though, but just not expecting it.

After watching Momota played his first match, I am crossing him out for Olympic gold.

Momota is good reading the game. If you notice when he misses he often totally misses them. He is playing a percentage game. Did you see him clueless flat-footed against many of LZJ's smashes in All England's encounter. Going forward I see their match will be about 70-30 in LZJ's favor/favour.

In All England do you think Momota was playing close to his best level? Assuming Momota can return to anywhere near his level before injury I can see him 80-20 favourite against Lee Zii Jia in future encounters.

WD: I really wish for FukuHiro to win but I think Matsumoto and Nagahara have a better chance. Of course, Jia and Chen. (My top 3, hopefully)

WS: I'm a huge TTY fan but I just feel she won't be the champion, I hope she get on the podium tho. I think there will be a Japanese medalist, probably Okuhara. Sindhu 2.0 can beat anyone, if she does unlock that mode of hers, she have high chance.

MS: I'm not a fan of Men Single. My bet goes to Axelson and Momota.

WD: Minions or Endo/Watanabe! I hope it's the host that win!

XD: Huang and Zheng, the Thais when on form have a good chance too. I hope the Japanese medals!
