Chia and Soh beat Minions AND Daddies in a major. Wow I did not see that coming!

I guess its not meant to be for Ahsan to get Olympic medal, but they tried their best at their age.

Would have been nice to be the oldest medallist for Hendra. With or without the medal, they are still legend. Perhaps it comes a year too late.

    And it’s over…
I feel like the 2nd game the Indonesian can wrap it up… but maybe nervous unforced error or stamina can be the obstacle there

Thank you Ahsan Setiawan… I’ve been a big fan… especially Setiawan, I can remember very much the final vs cai y fu haifeng, they were resilient although lost the first game

Congrats to Chia/Soh. MD now belong to the young generation.

Ahsan/Setiawan have already seen many of their opponents in their generation retired or semi-tired. Give them credit for still being competitive these few years.

This loss takes nothing off Ahsan and Setiawan's legacy!

But the hype coming to Soh/Chia pair defeating 2 INA top pair will be surely last a long time

    All four players are winners.
Daddies were very graceful in defeat.
