Good for him, he needs this.
I am sure he is getting toasted by most of them and thus learning needed lessons.

I find him in stagnant mode. Needs confidence to come back to the level so many fans expect him to be. He'll learn it the hard way it seems. Well, as long as that's improving him.

I am very happy to see Satishkumar reaches his first senior international tournament finals and even though without a coach, he could reach the finals whereas his opponent Priyanshu Rajawat has Sia Dutt as coach . We all know Sia Dutt was the one who accompanied Srikanth during his china Open super series win. Such an experience coach coaching Pritanshu. So , I wont take this win as his indicator of success. PR's game is more of aggressive play , keep on attacking the opponent until he makes mistakes.
Satish's game is matured and so controlled. His on court demeanour also very calm and composed whereas his opponent PR was shouting at every winning point. This is not at all good. Hope he rectifies his game and his attitude so that we could be more happy in seeing him shine in international arena.
Good luck to Satish and Priyanshu.
How come Sia dutt can coach a player when he plays his compatriot. He is a national level coach , if I am not wrong , getting salary from central government . He should have stayed out of the coaching bench instead of choosing to coach a player from Gopichand's academy.

I saw the following from the PR vs Satish match.

    PR:
    1, Taking initiative, commanding rallies.
    2, Better smashes.
    3, Better net game.
    4, Faster movement,
    5, Better movement,
    6, Finest backhand,
    7, Cool deceptions
    8, More errors,
    9, More vocal.

    Satish:
    1, Lesser errors.

I don't want to comment on defense cause I don't think their attack tested each others defense. But PR's overhead forehand down-the-line smash worked better than the backhand smash he tried needlessly many times, he needs to be more decisive on this.

More than 50% of points PR lost thanks to UE, he seriously need to rectify errors.
I don't think a coach can instantly genie improve skills of a player who is second fiddle for major part of the game. If BAI is sponsoring Siadutt then this is not fair, he should have sit out on this one.

SAI pays funds for Siadutt and all other coaches at the Gopichand Academy. This is not the first time Gopichand players get the coach while the 'outside' Indian players don't, it won't be the last. This has happened for years and will continue.

So, coaches cant do anything on court?. I saw PR asking his advice whenever he lost a point.
And also in one of Sai Praneeth's interview after his world championship's bronze, he said that because of Gopixhand's one coaching advice, the match turned its tide. So, tell me , how come it did not affect a player's game.
SAI is funding Sia dutt. So, its terribly wrong what they are doing.
Nothing to say. I wish Satish for his future endeavour.
For PR, he need to 'Shut up' . If Marin is criticized, then hope we wont have the same situation if PR does against an international player.
Satish game is more matured when compared to all out attacking game of PR.

Had a conversation about the same with few people i know. They said Siyadatt was there from Gopi academy. Sathish now trains with Ajith Vijethilak at BLE. Now that Axelsen has left the national training centre in Denmark, next time he plays say Antonsen or Gemke, Johansen the coach will sit for Antonsen. Axelsen is free to bring his own coach. If both Satish and PR were part of the national training, then there would be coach for both of them.

So Gopi's academy pays for Siadutt? and not BAI.

It's complicated. Gopi had a say in BAI as long previous people was there. Now it aint that easy for him with the current lot is what i heard.

Dont say Sia dutt was paid by Gopichand's money. I know. He is paid using the funds given by the govt allocated for 'National academy '. Its blatantly and morally wrong from a coach to sit with a player who is from an academy which is owned by a National head coach.
    Unfortunate for Satish.

There is always a person who will deliberately support these people who spoil the setup. This makes me sick. I was very passive for the past few months in this forum. But since the finals of Ukraine international, I am compelled to talk about this.

Since the Gopichand Academy is also the 'National Training Centre', SAI gives them funds to maintain the National setup. The foreign coaches are directly paid by SAI, the local coaches may get it from the funds meant for the National setup which can be confused to Gopichand Academy paying them.

Hope all the youngsters who does not have Ranking get Ranking asap so that they does not need to play Qualifiers . Because In Ukraine International, both Meiraba and Satish had to play 3 or 4 matches in the qualifiers before reaching Semifinals and finals respectively whereas Priyanshu had to play only from Main draw.

Coaches and support staff for Sudirman Cup. Key names missing Park Tae Sang and Mathias Boe. Park is still on holiday. Mathias Boe is the surprise, has he not renewed his contract? India without a top level doubles coach.
    Coaches
    Agus Dwi Santosa
    Dwi Kristiawan
    Sanjay Mishra
    Team Manager
    Omar Rashid
    Support staff
    Sumansh Sivalanka (physio)

    Nishant (masseur)

No sidayat? And no doubles coach. Again lackadaisical attitude by the management. Seems, no one gives a **** about team World Cups.
