Momota doesn't look like he really cares. So many unforced errors.

Guys, did any of you catch that rally at 19-20 of second game bw Sen and Momota? Epic defence and resilience by Sen. Momota wins the match.

Sen had 17-14 lead, then lost 5 successive points to be at 17-19. He needs to fix this habit of not able to win last crucial points.

This angle gave me glimpses of how tight the net shots are. I am more impressed by these players now.

Yeah, that was crazy, unfortunately the screen went black before the end. I think this is not a bad loss for LS. He got to see what KM is about and next week - at the more important tournament - he'll be the fresher of the two.

Couldn't watch the match, expected result, but LS seemed to have done well in G2, good learning for him.

LOL. Maybe we could send this type of encouragement to all players who lose in the earlier stages of tournaments. I am sure that they will find some consolation in there somewhere. o_O:D

In back to back tournaments with nearly identical draws? Absolutely.
It's the same for Yamaguchi - Chochuwong. It's not unlikely that Momota and Yamaguchi will go deep in this tournament and will meet their respective opponents again next week. The first thing PC's and LS's coaches are going to tell them is to make it physical.

Just now saw the draw of Indonesia open super1000 tournament. Lakshya Sen have to play Momota in First round again.
How do they conduct draw. Really unfortunate for him. He has to increase his ranking so that he need not meet Top seeds again and again.

Remember when Indonesia said that all athletes have to reach Bali on 9th or 10th. They can easily adhere to that and knock someone who is tested positive even if he has recovered ( which he doesnt look physically anyway) , even delaying his match. While other country are being heartless.

And yeah, everyone was vaccinated back then as well.

We can always say ethics but which country is being unethical. i have point and i can say what i want as well.

I think it’s ok… the more he faces him , the better it is… besides he does not have to strike form so early… he needs to be able to better him before 2024.

What an utterly ridiculous and disgraceful choice to select YY Susanto/ F Fitriani for a TV match whilst minions are playing.

I think Axelsen is smart sportsperson. That is what I call leveraging your status as WR2 and Olympic Champions to gain fame. Look at this users and comments engagement in IG and Twitter. I definitely think Indonesians like kids (even if i'm not), this is high TFR country.

Of course as athlete want to win everything, I have money but more so, i want fame and engagements. He prolly has won everything but fame maybe not so yet.. (for example how many more people here discuss Momota and Axelsen looking at their pages). The reasons many more talk about an athlete is most likely because he has that fanbase.

Remembered how he used to learn Mandarins and get close to the Chinese?
