For the first time ever the Indian State of Odisha is home to the very first BWF S100 event.Odisha Open which will be held at Jawahar lal Nehru Indoor stadium,Cuttack near Capital city Bhubaneswar, will be held from 25th Jan to 30th Jan 2022 with close to 300 players participating from more than 15 countries. Odisha Open Replaces Hyderabad Open the other annual BWF S100 event that held in India previously. The total prize money for Odisha Open 2022 BWF S100 will be $75000 As of now there is no clarity about the broadcast of this event however,Since the start of this year BWF has been broadcasting LIVE STREAMING of PRE TV Rounds i.e ( R32 and R16 ) in both the India Open S500 and Syed Modi S300 on its YouTube Channel so I expect BWF to do the same for this event as well and if any of you have any info pertaining the same kindly share it with our Badminton fan community but certainly we will find this out tomorrow when the tournament starts. Do share your thoughts,Opinions pertaining this tournament. Thanks and Keep Smashing #ILoveBadminton #BadmintonHug #OdishaOpen2022
I have a report from sources at Odisha Open 2022 that just like S500 India Open and S300 Syed Modi Intl, BWF Odisha Open S100 Pre TV Rounds ( R32 and R16 ) will indeed be LIVE STREAMED on BWF TV Youtube Channel However I will wait to watch it myself to believe it btw the SEMI FINALS and FINALS will be telecast on TV at DD SPORTS. Love you BWF !! #BadmintonIsLife #OdishaOpen2022 #BWFSuper100
300 players is a very healthy entry. looking on instagram, there are plenty of motivated players training there. Great to see.
CONFIRMATION Im super pleased to announce that I have the confirmation from ODISHA SPORTS Twitter Handle that indeed all the matches at ODISHA OPEN 2022 BWF S100 will be LIVE STREAMED on BWF TV Youtube Channel and SEMIS and FINALS will also be telecast on DD SPORTS ( 29th and 30th Jan ) Thanks again to BWF for listening to a wish that I had always had in my heart...I cant express how emotional I feel at the moment because I always thought that may be I will never be able to watch a LIVE of R32 or R16 of my home tournaments or S300 or S500 events and probably will have to depend on Dian Anita's 100000000 Channels and I felt sad and disgusted and felt all Badminton fans felt the same...because I feel we as fans DESERVE to watch our sport from DAY 1 and we dont demand all courts but Court 1 and Court 2 are enough and I have said it in previous Syed Modi tournament also that I can't emphasize enough how Important the preliminary rounds are for us and if anyone from BWF is reading this please know that you have won the hearts of Millions of Badminton fans
Hey Mr Cheung, I hope you find my post in the best of your health and cheerful mood..I dunno if you remember but I remember you well and all other seniors that I interacted with when I was new here on the forums. Its an honour to have you in my thread..I profoundly appreciate your participation. Take care
Ok so I can also CONFIRM that I personally CANT VIEW THE LIVE STREAM on BWF TV as stated by the above tweet by the organizers Lets see if Tomorrow we see the streaming or not..
It's Mister Cheung. You won't miss him if he attends a live badminton match of world class standards.
Thanks for the correction...Yeah usually I only get to interact with them in Majors my supreme favourites...Thanks for being on my thread !
Junior WR 1 Tasnim is participating. She'll meet Malvika in round of 16. I hope Tasnim can achieve big in this tournament. Rooting for her!
Thanks a lot bro...I truly appreciate it...I believe BWF will only LIVE STREAM for BWF World Tour 300 and above tournaments. Once again thanks a lot bro
If bet365 is working in your country you can watch after giving 5 euros or something. I can cast the video from my android phone to my smart TV. The picture quality is not very good, but good enough for me.
Interesting. Meiraba lost to Tharun Mannepalli who is unknown to me. That too in straight games. Good to see so many good players coming out to play.
The way by which she disposed another young talent Samiya shows how good she is. 21-10, 21-15 against Samiya (Junior U-15 Asian champion) is a very good result indeed. I hope she takes the title. But Malvika is there . Will she dispose Malvika as well. I wanna see her match.
