The news on GJW and LZJ being banned by BAM for 2 years. News say she has joined KLRC.

Earlier news, before the ban announcement, on GJW joining KLRC :

According to Sairol Ayub, she is signed with KLRC for 3 years.
She decided not to go back BAM cos of her health issues. The BAM training schedule is very tough for her physical body

“Why only now there’s an issue?” - could be because of the recent resignation of a certain male singles player.

I think BAM went unnecessarily hard on GJW. I’m sure GJW didn’t handle everything properly from BAM’s view, but given they have a much bigger problem in LZJ, they could have been more diplomatic and made GJW a “good” example to reduce the pressure they are facing…

Moving to another country is one option for both Goh Jin Wei & Lee Zii Jia.
Singapore is a good alternative for them, so near. We have accepted many Indonesian-born players too.

I don't think it'll happen (not that I want to (ᵔᴥᵔ)) . Too sensitive issue with our mates up north. Also we learned something from AirBnB with Zhang beiwen. ◖⚆ᴥ⚆◗

gjw and her sponsors need to sue bwf in the malaysian courts to abolish the registration rule for the good of present & future badminton athletes worldwide.

    Lzj needs to help gjw.

Time for bwf to amend the rules going thro association also. Go by merit is the pro way. Bwf is sleeping after so many years. ;)

sitting back and waiting and hoping for bwf to change is a fool's errand, and i'm one of those fools. it's time for athletes to sue bwf, plain and simple. the registration bylaw is illegal.

can you imagine the look on bwf's face when the court imposes an injunction to halt all tournaments until the case is resolved?

Not many international players speak up for Goh Jin Wei. It makes me disappointed.

Glad to see the ban against GJW being lifted. Actually BAM has no reason to ban her, she decides not to join BAM because she already admitted that due to her health condition she can't keep up with the tedious training pace & she wants BAM to give the opportunity to other more deserving players.
Hopefully we'll be able to see her return into action soon.
