Are these strings still usable?

    Customer just dropped these strings in to have it restrung on their rackets. Would you suggest me to do otherwise as they are about 30-40 year old stings

    I'd suggest asking the customer, if you are able to get in contact with them, let them know of your concerns.

    Most likely alright if is fully seal and not under the sun. Just let them know the risk that maybe a good chance it will break while stringing.

    I still have the BG-65 strings (and BG-70, BG-80 and BG-85) with the exact same packaging as in the photos purchased in the 90's and I stored them inside ziplock bags. I have strung them at around 24lbs and they are still good and playable - the last time I strung the racquet was last year and still good. Have to add, I am not a heavy hitter, far from it :(.
