Such a pity that after a magnificent fightback to force deuce when 16-20 down only to lose on deuces eventually for Lee Zii Jia. If only....

LZJ has to learn to stay totally focused and be a bit more patient as he has the speed and lighting quick reaction coupled with his sudden injection of pace to unsettle his opponents.

I always knew there was not much difference between LZJ and VA. I had seen so many of their matches, its always very close.

Well,I hope SWY and Aaron manage to win the next match.

Actually why would the Indonesian crowd cheer so hard for Axelsen in the first place.

It is called tired. Besides being a bad excuse that LZJ would never agree with, it doesn’t change what I said about VA choice of side.

LZJ was conserving energy once the score was 10-16 in the second game, not injured or tired.

Indeed. But the reason you conserve energy is typically that you can’t afford not to. In my opinion, it looked like he had to. He also had a tough match yesterday.

Momota conserves energy all the time in his prime.

I prefer Flandy...I think they played better when he was the coach.

Ou xuanyi is clearly better than li junhui, still not as good as yuchen but solid enough when he's being targeted. he also has more variation in his attack compared to junhui.

I wont call it badly. Considering his younger opponent who has physical advantage of jumping all the day and smash the shuttle, prannoy did well . No probs. This chinese player , i am seeing the first time. So many chinese players are coming now in MS.

Ok, not badly, but ZJP is only 3-4 years younger and ZJP had much harder previous matches than HSP

Why is Kim Astrup always standing in front of his partner when he is smashing?
Leaving a big space on the other side.
