Watch comments exchanged between srikanth and prannoy. One fan said - an excuse ? Prannoy's reply to that fan was great.

That's Sad. I thought he would do good to qualify for Tokyo.
    Unfortunate for Indian badminton.
I have one doubt. Anybody here can clear it?
He is using Astrox 88D and he mentioned that he is using 32 pounds. But the max. tension allowed ffor this racket is 29 , right. How come he use 32?
In his instagram , he mentioned it.

There isn't anyone restricting him on getting his usual tensions. Pros usually get their racquets strung above 30lbs. Heck many pros using Arcsaber 11(max 24lbs) have it strung at 30lbs. They don't care even if the racquets break, they get it for free man.

It doesn't matter what the recommended max string tension for the Pros. Because they are sponsored and it doesn't matter to them if they break the racquet. Arcsaber 11's recommended max string tension is 24lbs. Guys like Sukamuljo, LYD were using at 30-32.

    Play hard. Train harder.

    https://bwfworldchampionships.bwfba...tep-for-prannoy-in-battle-against-long-covid/

Understandably, it was rather difficult 2-3 years for HSP. Initially with the digestion related problems, then the long Covid haul. I’m sure he would now regret partying out without any covid safety related measure during Guru Saidutt’s wedding last year, which resulted in another roadblock in his start-stop career. Hope he finds some resemblance of form in the twilight years of his career

My fellow fans are not being active here in Indian threads. First after Satwik Chirag win at ABC and now today Prannoy’s win at Malaysia Open.

Prannoy, we are proud of you for this win. You have been battling so many odds and constantly pushing yourself at this age after so many injuries. Kudos to you. Enjoy these moments.
