I found a brand new Li-ning N90 first gen. Is it still worth getting it these days or are the newer generations better? For reference I currently have N90-III, ZF2 LD and an N99. Not looking for a replacement just something to add to my collection.
Where can you buy Axforce 80 in the UK? Is the Axforce 80 CL version only for Asia? It seems that there is a short supply of rackets in the uk for some reason
Ask the guys at Badminton Racket Reviews to order it in. I just got mine today, took about 3 weeks though.
leaks of Harbertec 8000, Bladex 900, an AXforce (probably 100) and an orange racket are floating in badmintoncn.com
Looks like these new series translate following way, Axforce == Astrox (most premium materials), Bladex == Auraspeed / bravesword Halbertec == Arcsaber (easy to use)
Wild guessing, I'd say it's more straight forward than that: Axforce == Aeronaut (box frame) BladeX == Turbocharging (aero frame) Halbertec == 3D Calibar (so something in between) And hands down, Halbertec sounds just... so unbelievably bad.
If I spotted it correctly, the Blade X 900 has an oldschool pattern. Don't know why on earth they are so inconsistent inside a series. Same for the Axforces. IMO there is no advantage for that and in 2022 I would not buy something which died 10 years ago.
For some strange reason, Li-Ning seems to be deeply in love with the old school pattern. I don't get it.
well Li Ning says otherwise. Axforce == Tectonic Bladex == 3DC Halbertec == AN what do you guys mean by old school, 76 holes?
Oh right, I completely forgot about the Tectonics. I never understood how they fit in their line up tbh but I don't think they will get replaced so early in their lifecycle. But on the other hand, we are talking about Li-Ning, so pretty much everything is possible. Guess we'll just have to wait and see how things will look once more rackets are actually out in the open. Regarding patterns, old school is the 72 holes pattern that they at least have on the AX90Max.
The Tectonics are really young. I'm a bit happy that Li-Ning has new frame designs, but I will wait until they are easy available. Only racket which sounds interesting for me is AX80 (3U) but the prices keep me away.
