And talking about the well-improved Ng TY, he will take on Wardoyo in opening round which sounds to be interesting encounter to follow then if he could passed the Indonesian, Tsuneyama should be his next rival (R/32) before challenges the hot fave Axelsen in last sixteen.

Wardoyo is good. Both players are quite the same level. but I think Wardoyo will pull through base on experience.

There will always be upsets in any tournament. :) Hope to see Kento will raise to the occasion with the local support.
I am not surprised if Darren Liew can make the job easier for other players during the tournament.

your predictions aren't far off reality.
Loh might lose either first or second.
yuta can and has lost to Tabeling/Piek before. Their last meeting was also down to the wire where they barely made the win.

    Unfortunate news:
P V Sindhu who suffered ankle injury during quarterfinal against Malaysian player, pulled out of World Championships. She is one of the strong player who may get medal from world is going to miss this time.

She got injured in quarterfinals but won semifinals and finals easily with injured ankle. She has stress fracture. Doctors advised her to take rest.
If she declared that she was having stress fracture , may be the SF and final opponents could have come up with a strategy to push her to the limit. That's why, indian team concealed it till she reach India.

GJW played really well. I felt as if Akane is playing except for stamina and net dribbles. Akane has incredible stamina and control and also great net game. GJW played like a pro on that day. Hope she maintains that form

GJW is the skill player type. She lost on stamina because of her physical condition.

yeah, gjw just needs to maintain her form and slowly fine tune her stamina. Hopefully the sickness doesn't bother her. ;)
