Damn... 2 INA MD pairs lost today. Minions, Daniel/Leo, Fajar/Ardianto remain.

Who is the CHN new pair: Feng Yang Zhe/Huang Dong Ping who eliminated #1 seeded THA Dechapol/Sapsiree?

    What happened to Wang Yilyu?

to me WC is just another 1000 series that anyone at that point cab time can win if they are on fire and healthy at that point .
    .

Fajar Alfian, Muhammad Rian Ardianto Have a way easier road to the finals which seems definitely for them. AaronSoh Vs the whispers will be tough for the WC as their first two matches didnt seem too dominating and india md is a fighting dangerous pair. But the minions look in tip top performance and back to their old self. I have a feelijg minions will be in every SF F now onwards .

She is good. Probably even better then cyf at this point. I dun think cyf would have matched ay at this point. She actually matched ay. I am not exaggerating btw.

Only thing preventing her from beating cyf is her mental

Saina Nehwal can't run or move in the court anymore sadly. She does not have the stamina, the graceful stroke nor the steps.

Two underdogs deny WS top-eight seed quarterfinal scenario, Han Yue edged past former Olympic Champion Marin who needs longer time to her reinstatement in high level competition post long break absence, the Chinese agile footwork and good retrieving as well amplified pressure for Marin mostly to intercept the rallies as Han chase the shuttlecock in every corner as she can. Another upset created by Pai YP who eliminates the off-form Okuhara, the Japanese defense was fragile to tackle the tall Taiwanese offensive shot. The most interesting WS second round saw Yamaguchi slipped second game when she wasted four match points to the highly-spirited Wang ZY, luckily the world #1 didn't have huge impact psychologically in decider and still determined till the end including critical stages to conclude the winner. Yamaguchi facing a string of Chinese rivals en route to final here, He BJ and likely Han Y in next two rounds.

Three of four MS last eight clashes are scheduled to play at TV court and eight players representing eight different nations, what a balanced and terrific landscape. Axelsen and Lee ZJ are tipped to meet each other in final four judging their current performance. Lee on his element, master class to outplay Tsuneyama despite had trouble to control the drift in the second as errors creep in particularly at back line, still a powerful showcase by the Asian Champion. Christie almost blew away his quarterfinal spot, had problem to manage consistency and focus, Lee CY forced all out attack in first game that drained his stamina and visibly exhausted in decider. On the bottom-half draw where two seeded players had withdrawn, Chou TC is challenged by Shi YQ then two rising stars from same generation, Sen-Naraoka renew their rivalry in senior stage.

CHN experimenting XD pair, Huang/Feng score promising result so far to beat top-seeds Bass/Popor. Meanwhile the overwhelming faves Zheng/Huang find difficulty to pass the unheralded local combination Mikkelsen/Soby in three games, the Chinese pair concentration looked disrupted when their service had been faulted numerous times in second game by the Austrian umpire.

yeah True. Anyone can win it in any tournament. How can it even be compared to WR1 for 4 years. Its like 1/100 achievements.

but Aaronsoh wants to prove that at least they deserve that title so it will go someways if they can at least win the title here (something that LeeWang not manage to achieve after OG)

Think QF day should start at 10 local instead of 12. Some WD matches will be really long. In the past you can always do 10-3 and then starts at 5pm. But the 6th matches most likely wont start @5pm
