LYC imo is the best chinese MD player individually, such a shame they couldn't find a partner that are on par with him. I remember when LYD praise him on his yt channel when he review ou/liu match against ahsan/hendra.

Yes, his front court play was good too.
He sets up for his partner.
    Just need a good smasher.

Not just a good smasher, he need a better partner that are steady enough when being targeted on defense or flat play

LYC is a super solid player, it's very hard to score a point from LYC. Today Indonesia pair just target attack on Ou only. Even not under pressure, Ou still make many many unforce error.

Even with a weak partner in defense "as you said", LYC still able to beat WR-1 at their home soil

Agreed he definitely can do a lot better if li junhui is here. Can we get him back?

It's not that easy to find the right partner for him I think, skill alone is not enough but important also have to have good chemistry.
The same thing happened with INA camp, they have several MDs from top 10 to top 20, but still it's very difficult to find and concoct a strong MD who is able to consistently win the titles.

Well, well, well, where are the sore loser fans Yoji and Company when Alfian called medical timeout just as LYC/OXY drew level again at 16-all in the decider ???

That MD match LYC.Ou vs Alfian/Ardianto is one of the most thrilling and entertaining I've ever watched. Too bad it's only a Super 500 semifinals face-off.

It's certainly fit for any top prestigious tourney or major championship final.

Apparently, Ou Xuanyi can only perform with Liu Yuchen who can carry him and steady the ship. From what I understand LYC treats him like a buddy, always encouraging and motivating him.

Hadn't expected Wang Zhiyi to crush Pornpawee Chochuwong whom in my opinion is a promising up-and-coming Thai WS after Intanon Ratchanok.

Of the remaining WS in the draw, the title is An Se Young's to lose, I think. Actually, even if it's an all-star cast here, I believe ASY is the hotshot player to beat now.

Somewhat unexpectedly, Lakshya Sen's good run comes to an end at the hands of Christie. I had thought LS would go all the way to the final, at least.

I hope your "them" includes not only forum members but also all the players. Then, true inner peace will come to you as it should to everyone who practices the Buddha's teaching, of whom I admire greatly.

Angus has improved and benefited immensely from coach WTM.
