Fajar Rian has blown 3 titles, losing 2 pointer and deuce , AE 2019 , WTF22 and this. Not to mention the infamous AsianGames.

And earlier today, while watching how He Jiting/Zhou Haodong dealt comprehensively with the reigning world champ MD Aaron/Soh, 21-17 and 21-10, it suddenly dawned on me this CHN MD pair, both 24 years old now, may be another breakout star-in-the-making too.

i didnt watch this match until 18-19 CHN G3. Why? If they were calling medical at 16-16 i dont see anything.

im quite busy and im not a millionaire commenting CHN or any other players. But are you advocating that everytime opponents lost 4-5 points, they can call medical timeout?

i remembered last time you have so much excuses for the shitty thing SYQ did.

What talking you? What's wrong with medical timeouts?

And you are the pathetic one with your rank hypocrisy and double standard - where were you when the INA MD , Alfian, called for medical attention?

Mind you, to me, there's nothing wrong with him calling medical timeout, or anybody, for that matter.

They played well in Sudirman cup final but after that no good results. Hopefully this is a breakthrough. China has 2 good MD now , I always like He Jiting and Zhou Haodong

Surprisingly they paired LYC with Ou Xuanyi who is 2 years older than him , 29 years old
I am wondering why not He Jiting or Zhou Haodong who is only 24. LYC himself is 27

Christie-Shi showdown reignites rivalry between players of badminton powerhouse from same generation who have legion of diehard fans (especially female), rematch of Asian Games 2018 and INA Masters 2019 at same venue, the legendary Istora Senayan which backed up by roaring spectators. The Indonesian needed three games to clear last eight hurdle before figured out tactic specifically to overcome Indian young man meanwhile Shi outplayed Lu GZ comfortably. Christie reaches career high currently as world number #3 whilst Shi is fighting to restore top-8 position. Bottom-half semis will present MAS Masters 2022 replay, the unpredictable composition, Ng KL came from behind in second game when third game prospect was very likely, identical scoreline to edge out Tsuneyama. Wardoyo halted Canadian hotshot Brian Yang with his explosive game.

Third tournament in three consecutive weeks for An SY and she's still survive until final four, stability and steel determination defeat the tiredness, the ambitious Korean grinded former champion Intanon, her patient style delivers strenuous test for the skillful yet careless Thai ace. An will meet ideal rival reigning Asian Champion Wang ZY in terms of agility, retrieving skill and accuracy. Another Chinese in the fray, Han Yue outlasted Tunjung who vividly suffered stamina deficiency to balance Han endurance. The comeback queen Marin nearly derails winning plot before regained her focus just in time to close out first game.

It's about luck factor to illustrate Alfian/Ardianto-Liu/Ou result in nail-biting atmosphere as this match was very even, the Chinese surely will be major stumbling block for INA squad since they took reshuffle last year. Bringing six men's doubles pair, only one left (Carnando/Marthin a.k.a. The Babies), what a setback for the host. China shows depth in women's doubles even their experimenting pair Liu SS/Zhang SX advance into semis for their debut and no big surprise to secure final berth. New faces appear in S500 tour, Jiang ZB/Wei YX, China next regeneration who should be reckoned in coming years.

According to tournament prospectus, LIVE TV will broadcast 8 matches for semifinal round.
