CHN really should make LSS/ZSX permanent

ZhengYu much more toxic compared to LSS on the court - in a negative way

if ppl thought LSS too young.....come on just watch her on court....she's a rock

I think Leo is the weakest front player among Indonesian men's doubles at the moment.
He doesn't have a special shot or shuttle placement that is difficult for opponents to predict.

    Man....Hoki/Kobayashi totally ravaged in game-3.
They were only given 3 points by the Babies.

I feel like INA has to focus more on the Babies for the Olympic.

with 6 MDs there are lots of confusion and there are no clear ascensions that this could cost them Medals in OG. All the pairs can always make the final in SS and thats okay for the coach making money but MD is no WD or XD where you can mix and match and win the title from zero right away.

    weak mental! Very weak mental.

Should calm down after error fault from Kobayashi.

I'm not sure Japanese can win by calming down, but at least they will not lose with that scores.

This is what I always thought. He's not tall, doesn't look very fast and doesn't have that much power. As a frontman he doesn't have that flashy and unpredictable movement like Fajar or Kevin, and definitely doesn't have Hendra's ability to read the game.

But he's a multiple gold (and other) medal winners at WJC and have a SS title already at the age of 21. He surely has something. My wife pointed out that he's quite stable in his game and mentioned that the opponent prefer to attack Daniel more. Every time he has the chance, he will bring the shuttle to the net in a safe and consistent way, ensuring that Daniel will have the next chance to attack. He might be the type that only a badminton expert can appreciate.

...or he was just incredibly lucky.

Carnando has emotional stability unlike Kevin who gets moody.

and one of his greatest strength is he doesnt make these service errors that all these INA players like Rian and Hendra and now Kevin that spoils matches! Can almost say he is the best server in INA team.

Just watched the G3. Carnando as i thought, with serving barrages to end the game.

All over the place, its so easy to get the initiatives. Kobayashi just collapsed after the net fault but at 8-2, they aint coming back.

Somehow, your opinion has a point.
I think I'm still far from an expert to understand him, hahaha....

Can't agree more with you guys. I only watched a bit of her match today for the first time and, wow, I was blown away, the more so when I heard the livestreamer mentioned she's only 18 years old, just out of the junior circuit and playing her (maiden) international senior tourney(s).

At the moment, she is more like an unstoppable supersonic missile every time she smashes hard while in other aspects she's still in her formative stage growing and developing her game but you can tell her she has tremendous potential. I've no doubt we'll be seeing a lot of her very soon as long as she and her current partner, Zhang Shuxian, can qualify to play any tournament.

I won't be surprised CBA is testing her out with different partners to find a lethal combination one day. And, yes, I fully agree, Chen Qingchen/Jia Yifan had better watch out, their greatest threat will come from Liu Shengshu and whoever her firm partner is going to be in good time.

Yeah, since Yeremia's injury (and until now he is still far from his pre-injury performance) and
disappointing Bagas/Fikri performances, then the hope is left for Leo/Daniel.
Together with Fajar/Rian, they are Indonesia's hope in Paris 2024.

Me too, I'm quite disappointed with Shi Yuqi today, not only because he lost but the way he played and his body language - no life, no hunger, no fire in him.

And that after he had uplifted our spirits with how he bested first Momota and then Ginting in masterful fashion only to behave as if he's contented already, anything more, wait for next time.

I honestly thought he has a really good chance of winning the title. The sooner he gets back in the top 8, the sooner he will be seeded and get better draws but he needs to grab hold of chances like this.
