Agreed. He felt he could have done better. Meanwhile, Momota seemed sad but quite relaxed. He said he already did his best. This is worrying if you are a Momota fan. I don't have the feeling that he wants to improve or be more passionate with the game.

I heard the commentator say something similar that in one of the interviews momota did say that he has lost the love for the game or something like that. Correct me if i am wrong.

I thought it was Liem Swie King in the early 80s who populerized jump smashes

Bro, the jumping smashes was Heryanto Arbi. Not sure if he played against ZJH 'cos ZJH retired early.
But with his playing style (during those days) he couldn't last long.

LSK jumped but I think Heryanto Arbi jumped higher. :D

I like the Indian WD pair they have great shot quality and are very agile however they need to learn how to control their errors if not then all the amazing shots they play will go in vain...Most of the points have been gifted by them to the CHN WD pair.

Im sure with age they will gain experience...Overall Im really very impressed with Teresa and Pullela !

If they lose which I think they will cause they are making way too many errors, they need to work hard on their errors or it they may never win anything big.

How has Jolly not lost her voice yet from her screaming?

I see Viktor as a defensive player. His style is similar to old Lin Dan, (old) Momota etc. A lot of lifts or net play from the waist height. No risky rushes to the net to scare the opponent from doing too many drops from the base line.

I guess Marin and the Korean WD pair would be the best one to answer this question :p

XD was thinking the same, she was super pumped today. Would definitely need a dozen lozenges before tomorrow.

LXX the weaker link today, IND did well to exploit it at the fullest. Love their style of play, refreshing for WD.

Yes, I mixed him with Hermawan Susanto. I don't even know now if Susanto was a jump smasher or not.

What an intense fight between INA vs JPN XD.
Both pairs released all their abilities, push to the limit.
Congrats to reihan/lisa, but this JPN XD also deserves credit especially Yamashita who plays very powerfully, IMHO they are the future of Japan XD.

Quite unsurprising. I too would be disheartened if unfortunate accidents and injuries was the cause of losses, and then losing more and more confidence. If he keeps playing, I would like to see him play because he still enjoys it, not because he feels pressured to play

I guess. But their screaming/shouting is not as shrill. Its literally like at the top and to the limit of vocal chords.

From tournamentsoftware, Marin gave walkover and ASY goes to SF.
