Actually come to think of it that Ginting and LZJ are the only seeds left right now but actually with the exception of LSF and NTY, all the players in the quarterfinals are actually top and established players already, both antonsen are syq are not seeded but it’s expected of them to do well

Come on Ginting, keep it together, AA cannot score on you, just relying on errors

Kim / Kong vs Chen / Jia is a must watch. esp if u don't know the results.

Wang / Liang vs. Carmando / Marthin also.

LZJ has to be the overwhelming favourite in MS now surely?

Antonsen moves on, beating good friend Ginting in the QF. After this event is over, I am eagerly awaiting both The Badminton Experience from HKV/AA and Badminton Insight's content coverage of the All England 2023.

Technically antonsen, lzj and syq have been world no 2, its an equal field there

This is the best I have seen Anders Antonsen play in the last 2 years. Since Antonsen beat Viktor in Thailand 2 years ago, Antonsen has had pretty disappointing results. He did not do good at the Olympics, or the 2021 WC, or the 2022 WC. And in 2022 to January of 2023, he was playing like a top 20 or top 30 player in the world. He was a shell of his former self, who was definitely a top 3 player at his peak, and good enough to beat Viktor and win the championship in Thailand.

I hope Antonsen is back to his 2020 to early 2021 form, where he was a top 3 player, it would make badminton more exciting if there are more contenders.

Even if AA has been doing well this tournament, it still feels like Ginting mostly lost to himself when taking all his errors into account

It is highly interesting to see if NTY can follow up on his good performance yesterday

LSF is looking strong so far, he should reach the final if he can take this match

As if that wasn't the case too when Junhui was still around

China have produce a lot of good front court player started from cai yun but they badly need another FHF, a player that not only have deadly smash, but also solid defense and very steady overall.

NTY exposed, physically subpar and out of it compared to his peers.

Pretty convincing performance, amid a few hiccups in game 2 but LSF moves on to the SF of the All England. Is he China's next best MS hope?

same can be said for NTY. beating rustavito convincingly and VA to only get his sh*t pushed in by LSF

    A lucky escape for CYF.
Sad for GMT who played well but not enough to win.
