    Hi guys,

I don't know, whether a thread already exists where I can find this information, but I couldn't find it, so here's my question.

I am looking to upgrade the fixed clamps of my stringing machine (coming from ProsPro).
I've read some good things about the AEF Clamps (eg. sold on tennisman.de) and the Stringmaster clamps. Currently I am preferring to go with the Stringmaster Clamps.
Unfortunately they are out of stock on tennisman and I can't find any other sellers.

Do some of you know a place where you can buy those or similar clamps?
    Aliexpress would be fine too.

Or else, do you have links to a Aliexpress seller with a good reputation for the AEF clamps?

    Thanks and kind regards,

    Simon

Here are the variants I've found on Aliexpress sorted by price:

These are what I think the AEF clamps with coated inserts ~50€ per clamp:

The ones "similar" to Stringmaster with 4 teeth ~80 € per clamp:

The one "similar" to Stringmaster with heavier closing mechanism and 5 teeth ~80€ per clamp

Stringmaster 5 teeth lightweight closing mechanism ~110€ per clamp:

What would you recommend / choose?

Just realised we didn't post any links. Here's the one I brought. Step up from the T20 clamps.

Is there an advantage with 5 teeth clamps?
My gut tells me they would require less gripping force and I never experienced the width of the clamp getting in the way when stringing.

    Am I missing something?
Otherwise I'd go with the 5 teeth cheaper and heavier variant:

I think I don't care about the added weight of the larger closing mechanism and the price seems good.

Most of the machines that come with badminton clamps are 4 teeth. I believe it's because it fits between the badminton strings better than a 5 teeth one.

Hello Slapmon, we received a few weeks ago some of the clamps of this thread. We bought this for customers who want to upgrade the clamps of the superstringer machines. At the moment we have so much work (tennis season startet) that i did not have time to make photos or put them in our onlineshop. => But we have them on stock. You can send me an e-mail and i can check which clamps are on stock.

Is it possible to upgrade to Yonex clamps? Does anyone know where to buy them?

This is no longer possible as Yonex bought Toyozouki the OEM. You'd be lucky to find any in the used market.
Prior to the acquisition, it was possible (speaking from first hand experience as I purchased a pair in 2014 for my Gamma 6004).

No wonder I wasn't able to find anything from my brief search. Strange they don't sell fixed clamps replacements.

What is the go to brand these days then for fixed clamp replacements? Thank you.

    Based on this post: https://www.badmintoncentral.com/fo...s/buying-yonex-clamps-and-base-clamps.189049/

You need to own an existing machine if you need replacement clamps and/or require maintenance.
Additionally the clamps on these machines do not have "male" posts but are "female".

The ones I own are "male" which i assume are for older iterations of toyozouki machines
